Gangnam Italian café dinner with ragu lasagna: Mild High Club
In short
Mild High Club Apgujeong Branch is a café and restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul, serving brunch and dinner. I had the garden salad, flat iron steak, and lasagna for 104,000 won, with a useful 5,000 won parking-receipt discount per car. Verdict: I’d return 100% for brunch or dessert.

A brunch café and dessert spot with the best atmosphere in Apgujeong Rodeo. It’s great for coming with dogs or children, and it’s been a beloved Apgujeong date spot for four years.

Apgujeong Rodeo is right next door, so I go there often. Mild High Club Apgujeong Branch (마일드하이클럽 압구정점), a hip Apgujeong brunch café restaurant, is the kind of place that makes passersby stop in their tracks. I had saved photos thinking, “I should go sometime,” and I finally visited. I have to try all the pretty places~^^
I fell for it from the exterior, but Mild High Club was even better in person. The suitably dim lighting, glamorous bar table, and huge open floor-to-ceiling window doors make the hip mood even stronger. Dogs are welcome, so it would be lovely to visit with a pup, and it looked really nice for brunch with children too.
Mild High Club Apgujeong Branch: atmosphere and information

Walking past it around Apgujeong Rodeo, I was drawn in by the atmosphere. It has such a hip look that anyone would want to go inside, so I think lots of people have bookmarked it like I did.
Location and hours
It is on the first floor at 644-6 Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and is open daily from 11:00 to 22:30. I loved that there is no break time, so you can visit whenever.
It works for Apgujeong coffee, brunch, and dinner all in one place. I came for dinner, but many people also visit for brunch and dessert. There must be a reason it has been loved steadily for four years, right?^^
Since pets are allowed, reviews say it is great for visiting with dogs and for brunch with children. I love doggies too, so I was sad not to see any at dinner. Aww~
How do you get the parking-receipt discount?

There is a parking information sign like this at the entrance to Mild High Club. There is no parking on site, but it is one of those rare places that offers remarkably generous parking support.
When paying after your meal, show a receipt from any parking lot and ₩5,000 will be deducted from the food bill. It is not limited to one car: regardless of the number of cars, ₩5,000 is deducted for every parking receipt. If three cars at one table parked, ₩15,000 comes off the meal bill. Don’t forget to bring your parking receipts~
Inside, from sofa seating to bar tables

It was packed with guests—such a popular spot.

We had booked ahead, so luckily we were shown to a comfortable sofa seat, which made me happy. I don’t like the middle tables because they feel a little unstable. This was a sofa seat tucked into a corner by the wall, so it was comfortable.

There are bar-table seats too, so it looked good for dining or having a drink alone. While we ate, I saw one man having a meal and wine by himself. It is just right for a solo drink too.

Naturally, the window seats with the floor-to-ceiling-window view are popular. Interestingly, those seats seemed popular only with couples on dates, while the round table in the middle was also very popular. I loved that there was not a single table I disliked.

I could see a large screen and a music box too.

The weather had turned pleasantly cool, so the ceiling fans were enough. The weather lately is just so nice.
Ordering the garden salad, flat iron steak, and lasagna
- Lasagna 26.0
- Flat iron steak 55.0
- Garden salad 23.0
- Total: 104.0

It was nice that the food came out quickly too. If you want to eat everything while hot, it might be good to ask for it slowly in the order of salad, steak, then lasagna. That way, it does not cool down and you can enjoy all the flavors, right?^^
Complimentary pickles

We should have asked for pickles, but we did not get to eat them. You have to ask for the pickles, so don’t forget to order them if you want some.
Garden salad 23.0
The salad came in a large, generous portion. It looked so appetizing.
The vegetables in the garden salad were really fresh, and I do not know what seasoning was on the chicken, but it was so tasty. At this price point, the flavor was excellent^^ It really is a great salad spot. I definitely recommend ordering the salad. It was our number-one pick^^
Flat iron steak 55.0

The website showed grilled romaine too, but it was not there. I suppose the ingredients can vary from time to time. It came with fresh asparagus and mashed potatoes.
The flat iron steak did not have that rich, nutty beef aroma, but it was well cooked with no unpleasant smell. It was uniquely served with a berry-like compote sauce. The grilled asparagus alongside it was fresh, and we really enjoyed the mashed potatoes. It had been a long time since I had mashed potatoes this deliciously and perfectly seasoned.
Lasagna 26.0

The lasagna had a distinctive look. I also liked the crispy bits stuck on it, like nurungji (scorched rice). It was generously filled with ragu sauce.
Rather than lasagna layered with vegetables such as eggplant, this was lasagna packed with ragu sauce. Lasagna with vegetables can taste a little bland or soft, but perhaps because the ragu sauce and wide pasta sheets were the main ingredients, it had a flavor faithful to the basics. It was a great lasagna spot.
The dishes came out at about the same time, and because I am a blogger taking photos, I ate the expensive steak first and had the lasagna last. It was tasty even slightly cooled, but I thought it would have been even better eaten straight away while piping hot. Please do try the lasagna~♡
An Apgujeong Rodeo meal for children, dogs, or a solo drink
Mild High Club has that hip, terrace-like feeling that had always made me stop while passing through Apgujeong Rodeo. Since pets are allowed, it is good for visiting with a dog, and it is also a nice choice for Apgujeong coffee, brunch, or dinner with children.
The daytime brunch-café feeling differs from the interior lighting and menu at dinner, so being able to enjoy different moods and menus seems like another advantage. I like it even more because there is no break time. With bar tables too, it looked great for delicious food and a drink alone.
This was a rare Apgujeong Italian restaurant that even supports parking. No matter how many cars there are, show a parking receipt and ₩5,000 per car is discounted from the food bill, so do not forget your receipts~ Mild High Club, popular in Apgujeong Rodeo for four years, is said to have delicious desserts too, so I 100% want to return next time for brunch or dessert.
