That Man's Italian Restaurant & Lounge is a three-minute walk from Jungang Station, so it is worth keeping in mind if you are looking for a restaurant near the station, great steak or pasta, or somewhere with a lovely atmosphere 💛

This steak restaurant in Jungang-dong, Ansan, is on the sixth floor of Dongwon Building ˚ ༘ ⋆

Parking and gathering spaces

Even if a restaurant is delicious, I tend not to return if parking is inconvenient—but there is a public parking lot directly across from Dongwon Building, so you need not worry about parking 𓂃 You can register for one hour free after your meal. If it is full, they can also register one free hour after dining at the lots in front of Geumsan Building, Jungang Heights, Lotte Department Store, Megabox, and more ˚ ༘ ⋆

I had seen so many posts while searching for a steak restaurant in Jungang-dong, Ansan, and an Ansan date course that I had wanted to visit at least once—and it had even received Ansan restaurant certification ෆ A truly recognized local gem .ᐟ

˶'ᵕ'˶ The atmosphere seemed perfect both for a date and for a special anniversary 🍷✨

Inside, there is a separate private room for groups of six or more 💛 With a reservation, it seems like such a nice space for a family meal, group get-together, company dinner, birthday party, bridal shower, or a pre-wedding family meeting—enjoying delicious food with a party feel ♪˞͛

Outdoor terrace

The outdoor terrace takes on a whole different mood when the lights come on in the evening 💛🍃

I would also recommend it as a restaurant to visit with a baby in Ansan 🍃

The menu, from pasta to steak

There were lots of pasta options, including various salads and gratins, oil-based pasta, tomato pasta, and seafood spaghetti.

There were so many tempting choices too: premium Australian wagyu steak, lamb rib steak made with French racks from lambs under 12 months old, and squid ink risotto topped with a whole squid 🥹💛

Along with wine by the glass for an easy pairing with steak, there was bottled wine too. Corkage is available for bottled wine other than alcohol sold at the restaurant, which makes it even nicer for an anniversary 🍷💛 It costs ₩20,000 per bottle.

They also had a ₩65,900 signature main course with 10 courses, from appetizers through steak and dessert ✨ The selection looked like great value for the price. It also seems like a lovely place for an Ansan family gathering, an end-of-year restaurant meal, or a small first-birthday party 🍽️

The lamb ribs and squid ink risotto we ordered

We ordered lamb rib steak for ₩43,900, squid ink risotto for ₩23,900, and Bundaberg Pink Grapefruit for ₩5,900 𓂃 🤎

𖤐 The signature squid ink risotto

-ˋˏ There was a reason it was the signature menu item ˎˊ- It was the best squid ink risotto I have ever had 💯

It had that distinctive nutty richness of squid ink, and the squid was wonderfully tender with none of that chewy toughness. I think I would order it again on a return visit 👍

Lamb rib steak, ₩43,900

You know a lamb rib steak is truly good when it is tender and delicious without any gamey smell .. ✨

You can order it cooked to your preferred doneness, and it was even more tender because they use only premium Australian AA9+ wagyu and French-rack lamb ribs from lambs under 12 months old ｡•ᴗ•｡

I loved that the steak came with several sauces—whole-grain mustard, mint jelly, wasabi, and more—so I could eat it just the way I liked 🤎
