My husband and I went shopping at Busan Premium Outlets for the first time in a while. After looking around the outlets and wandering from place to place, we started getting hungry and wondered where to eat, so this time we stopped by Bueokgan Restaurant. Since it is inside the outlet, it was convenient that we could eat right away without having to go elsewhere while shopping!

There was a wide range of dishes, from pasta and pizza to soup, so it was nice for two people to share several things. The food generally came out neatly and beautifully presented, and I noticed lots of families dining with children, too. It seemed like a great fit for people looking for a light meal after shopping, like us.

What was Bueokgan Restaurant’s interior like?

The first thing I noticed upon entering was how clean and organized the whole space felt. It was not overly formal like a fine-dining restaurant, but it also was not hectic like a casual eatery, so it was comfortable for a meal.

There were actually lots of families visiting, and it felt like a relaxed place to eat with children. Being inside the outlet also makes it easy to come for a meal before or after shopping.

The staff were kind, too, so we could eat comfortably without any inconvenience.

The Italian dishes we ordered for two
That day, we ordered three things: sweet pumpkin soup, rosé seafood pasta, and pepperoni pizza!

Even though there were only two of us, pasta alone felt a little lacking, so we ordered pizza as well, along with sweet pumpkin soup for a light starter. Having the pasta and pizza together was nice because we could enjoy several flavors rather than just one dish!
The pepperoni pizza and pasta we tried

Pepperoni pizza
There were so many kinds of pizza that I had trouble deciding, but I ordered the pepperoni pizza because I fell for how it looked.

Just looking at the thick, chewy dough topped generously with cheese and pepperoni made it look delicious!

The savory cheese and salty pepperoni made it feel like a pizza that stayed true to the basics. There was plenty of cheese, so its flavor really came through, and the crust was not too thick, making it good to eat alongside pasta.

If you want a little spice, try the hot sauce provided! It refreshes your palate among Italian dishes that can feel a little rich!

Sweet pumpkin soup
Sweet pumpkin soup with a generous topping of flaky pastry. The sweet pumpkin’s gentle sweetness and smooth texture came through beautifully. More than anything, the texture of the bread went so well with the soup that I kept reaching for it. Overall, it was more savory and soft than strongly seasoned, so it is nice to have before or after your meal!

I especially thought it would be an easy dish to enjoy when visiting with children. With its sweet flavor, cute color, and bread-topped presentation, it is a menu item everyone can enjoy! Be sure to order it as a side.

Rosé seafood pasta
I ordered the rosé seafood pasta because I thought it would go well with the pepperoni pizza’s spicy flavor! Rosé sauce had its signature smooth, creamy taste with a fresh note of tomato, so it was less rich than I expected and easy to eat. The noodles were well coated in sauce, so I could taste the rosé sauce with every bite, while the seafood added a subtle umami depth that made it more flavorful than a plain cream pasta.

The seafood in it was very high quality, so this was a dish I enjoyed very much.
A nice place for a family meal after shopping
Bueokgan Restaurant was a great place to eat after shopping at Busan Premium Outlets! After trying everything, I felt it was generally neat and nicely presented—a good place for an easy meal. Its biggest advantage is that it is inside the outlet, making it convenient for lunch or a meal when you come shopping around Gijang.

The clean atmosphere and kind staff also made it seem like a good place to visit as a family. Bueokgan Restaurant is worth stopping by if you are looking for good Italian food in Gijang or somewhere to eat after outlet shopping. I especially want to recommend it to anyone looking for a clean Gijang lunch spot to visit with children. If you want to shop and enjoy Italian dishes in Busan, you may want to keep it in mind 🎀
