Songpa board game café cheese fries and Sonagi plan for two: One Play

I was looking for somewhere to go for an indoor date in Jamsil and found One Play Jamsil Branch!! So many board games and things to do, I totally lost track of time ☺️

Where is One Play Jamsil Branch and what are its hours?

One Play Jamsil Branch is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of 20 Baekjegobun-ro 7-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul. By subway it's a 7-minute walk from Jamsil-saenae Station Exit 4; by bus, a 4-minute walk after getting off at the Seokchon Lake Seoho-sageori stop.

The building exterior and how to get in

One Play Jamsil Branch is really easy to get to since it's close to the restaurant strip! Right at the building entrance there's signage for all kinds of things to do — PlayStation, Switch, manga, board games, even OTT — so I was already excited before going in ☺️

You change into slippers on the 2nd floor, then head up one more flight to the 3rd floor!

You put your shoes in the locker here, grab the key, and head up to the 3rd floor

Here's the inside of the store! The 3rd floor seemed to be the space for reading manga. Since I was there for the PlayStation and OTT rather than manga, I just browsed ☺️ Even just browsing, the sheer variety of manga was crazy!! If you love manga, I think you could read to your heart's content here haha 👏🏻

What makes One Play Jamsil Branch special is that they have a whole variety of delicious cakes!! 💗 They looked so, so tempting, but since I'd already had café stuff, I sadly saved it for next time 🥹

How much do the One Play Jamsil plans cost?

Here are One Play's pricing plans! They're split into Sunshine, Sonagi (Shower), Snowflake, Rainbow, and Shooting Star — cute, right?! 💗 You can also swap drinks for an extra charge. The base rate is ₩4,000 for the first hour, so it felt like a pretty good value to enjoy haha

Payment for the plans was easy since you can just do it at the kiosk like this haha. They're also running a KakaoTalk channel add-friend event and a review event, worth keeping in mind 💗

Sonagi plan for two at 21,800 won and the 2nd-floor board game room

Our order was the Sonagi plan for 2 people, ₩21,800. Once the drinks come out, we head up to the 2nd floor!!

The board game selection here is huge!! 🙊🙊 They even have the trendy skewer-master game, and lots of other things to enjoy in different ways 💗

And there are so many seats that you can enjoy things privately 👏🏻 Maybe that's why guests kept streaming in nonstop!!

They even have gaming consoles like this haha 🍀

Cheese fries and white supreme seasoned chicken

We ordered some food to go along with it too! We got cheese fries and white supreme seasoned chicken haha

The cheese fries were freshly fried and hot, topped with cheddar cheese and cheese sauce — so savory and delicious 🧀🍟 We just kept grabbing one after another and they were gone in a flash haha 🤗

The white supreme seasoned chicken was tasty fried chicken coated in a sweet-and-spicy sauce, topped with a white sauce — honestly it gave Chukgatjip's seasoned chicken a run for its money 🙊 It was so good we polished it off in no time haha ☺️ Food is a must when you're at a board game café!! One Play Jamsil Branch's menu isn't overpriced, so you can order without worrying too much 💗💗

Eating while gaming like this was so nice!! 💗 The seats were comfortable too, which made it even better ☺️

Final verdict: is One Play Jamsil good for an indoor date?

If you're wondering what to do with friends in Jamsil, or looking for a good spot for an indoor date with your partner, I'd recommend One Play 🎲 There's such a variety of board games that you can pick ones suited to your group size or tastes!

Best of all, instead of playing just one game the whole time, we hopped between different ones and time flew by haha. If you want to sit comfortably like at a café in Jamsil while enjoying a different kind of date or hangout with friends, this is a good place to check out 🫶🏻 Next time I want to come back and try board games I haven't played yet!
