I was looking for somewhere I could go with my dog and ended up at Daenghaus 🐶 Honestly, bringing a dog to a café is trickier than you'd think. I wanted to sit down together, eat something good, and just relax with my pup, and I finally made it happen this time.
But taking photos is a whole other problem lol. I took 15 shots and not a single one facing the camera. She had zero interest in the camera, only stared straight at me, the owner. In the end I got nothing usable, but it's still cute so I'm posting it anyway. 😂

Once you head in, you come through the passage between Seomun Parking Lot and the building

The first floor is a space where dogs roam freely between the tables 🐶 Some dogs go around greeting everyone, and every so often a fast one drifts around a corner like it's racing, which cracked me up lol. Just sitting and watching the dogs play, I completely lost track of time 🤍
Stepping outside, there's actually a space where dogs can get bathed.

What is a dog cappuccino?
Felt bad only having drinks ourselves, so we got a dog cappuccino too — just looking at it makes you want a sip lol
She lapped it up so happily lol, and by the end she had it all over her mouth, which was just so cute 🤍
Time in the outdoor mat zone
There's mat flooring outdoors so dogs can really run around, and eventually she was totally in her element running around out there lol. Okay, that's enough running, time to rest
After a good long run, a quick rest 🐶 But the moment a new person walked in, she was the first one to run over and greet them lol. Turns out she's basically the shop's resident dog — greets every single person who comes in, then goes about her business all cool afterward. So funny 🤍
Once I put her down she was shaking like a leaf and kept asking to be picked back up lol. I told her to go play with the other dogs, put her down, and in the end my dog just stayed by my side, watching 🫠
All the other dogs were happily running around, and meanwhile mine just tucked herself under the table, watching everyone nervously lol. You came here to play, come on~ 🥹🤍
In the end she never quite joined the other dogs, just watched from the sidelines the whole time lol. Once again my dog wrapped up the day in spectator mode 🤣🤍
Is Daenghaus&Bingsuking worth a visit?
Daenghaus&Bingsuking let us enjoy a café outing and good desserts together with our dog! I liked that the menu had real variety, from drinks and cake to meals like tteokbokki (spicy stir-fried rice cakes) and pork cutlet. Plenty of people around us were having bingsu (shaved ice dessert) too.
Entry fees differ depending on your dog's weight, and the pool dry room comes with a separate charge, so it's worth keeping that in mind before you go. It was a great spot for spending some relaxed time with your dog in Daegu. 🐾
