Today's post is about a Wondang café that's been getting buzz lately.
Baedagol Bakery House, famous for its forest vibe, is a place I finally visited — and even on a weekday there were so many people, haha.
Where is Baedagol Bakery House, and what are its hours and parking?

Baedagol Bakery House is located at 123 Hoguk-ro 1121beon-gil, Deokyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, and is open daily from 10:00 to 21:00 (last order 20:30). Parking is free, with over 50 spots across Lot 1 in front and Lots 2–3 across the street.
Lot 1 was full, so I parked right across the street in Lot 2. The lot was spacious so parking was easy, and there was even a Lot 3, which made me realize just how many customers this Wondang café draws — it got me even more excited, haha.

The banners out front listed several discount events, and apparently all bread is 50% off starting at 7pm every evening, so that's worth keeping in mind if you visit, haha.
A forest setting you can see from the parking lot
The exterior of Baedagol Bakery House was so, so pretty, like stepping into a European forest, T_T.
Among Wondang cafés, this level of landscaping felt rare. The front yard is full of colorful flowers and plants, which look so pretty and peaceful that just looking at them was healing.
Set against the blue sky, the café looked really beautiful and I found myself admiring it, haha. It made me think — no wonder they call it a forest-vibe café.
The first-floor bakery counter, whole melons included

Walking in, there were all kinds of bread out front, plus a whole melon on display. The bakery selection was so varied that it made me want to come back and try more breads next time, haha.

The first floor has floor-to-ceiling windows with a European feel and an open view of the garden, which is why so many customers were gathered there, haha.
What we ordered at Baedagol Bakery House: prices and discounts

The melon-based drinks and melon bingsu (shaved ice) were listed as the signatures, so after a long look at the bread case too, I decided to just go with the signature menu items, haha.

The breads all looked so pretty and delicious that I really had a hard time choosing, T_T.
- Häagen-Dazs caramel latte ₩10,000
- Fresh melon yogurt smoothie ₩11,000
- Fresh fruit mascarpone ₩9,000
- Hazelnut ambutter ₩7,000

Adding them on KakaoTalk as a friend or following on Instagram gets you a 10% discount, so keep that in mind! And it says military, police, firefighters, and sanitation workers get a 20% discount, so worth noting, haha.

Also, after paying, writing a Naver receipt photo review gets you a free bread regardless of the order amount — don't miss that either!!
Garden views from the second-floor window seats
When our order came out, the first floor was crowded, so we headed upstairs, haha.

The wide floor-to-ceiling windows framed the open sky, mountains, and the pretty garden together, and it was truly picture-perfect, T_T. The cozy, tidy interior made the outside scenery stand out even more and feel more striking!!
The beautiful view drew a real gasp out of me, and there's even a terrace on the second floor — I imagined it would be amazing to sit out there when the weather is cool and pleasant, haha.

The bread and drinks we ordered looked so pretty too that I couldn't help but admire them, haha.
How the Häagen-Dazs caramel latte and fresh melon yogurt smoothie tasted

The Häagen-Dazs caramel latte comes with the drink and a shot of espresso served separately, meant to be poured in. It's sweet and topped with Häagen-Dazs ice cream, so I enjoyed the ice cream with the coffee on top first,
and at the end, mixing the ice cream into the drink combined the coffee aroma with a sweet, soft, creamy texture for a really luxurious flavor... it was so delicious, haha.

The fresh melon yogurt smoothie is topped with real melon pieces, so I enjoyed the melon with the yogurt smoothie first, savoring the refreshing, sweet flavor,
and then mixed it with the melon syrup layered at the bottom, which brought out an even sweeter, more refreshing melon flavor — gorgeous to look at and delicious to boot, haha.
I thought this would be a menu both kids and adults would love, and both drinks lived up to their signature status — really tasty, haha.
Fresh fruit mascarpone and hazelnut ambutter, tasted side by side
The fresh fruit mascarpone is topped with fresh figs, and underneath, the mascarpone cream and sponge come together — biting in, the sweet flavor and aroma of the fresh figs,
combined with the soft mascarpone cream, made this one delicious too, haha.
I also tried the hazelnut ambutter, where the hazelnut aroma blended with the salted butter,

soft, nutty, and sweet all at once — this one was also really delicious.

With pretty landscaping, a spacious store, and a variety of signature menu items, it's a great spot for a date course or a family outing alike. It felt easy to bring parents or come with kids, and it made me want to visit again.
