Whenever I'm craving something sweet or a tiramisu, I always end up at Central Site Hapjeong, a café near Hapjeong Station. The weather was nice, so it was a good day for a little Hapjeong outing and some drip coffee.

Inside Central Site Hapjeong: floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor tables

The inside of Central Site Hapjeong was bigger than I expected. There's plenty of window seating and outdoor tables too, and since it's all floor-to-ceiling glass, you get a nice view outside no matter where you sit. Even on a weekday afternoon there were a lot of customers inside and plenty coming in for takeout.

Since Central Site Hapjeong is known for drip coffee, they naturally had a wide variety of beans. I like nutty coffee, so I went with the staff's recommendation and ordered the Guatemala. And since this café near Hapjeong Station is also known for its tiramisu, I ordered that too!

I ordered the classic tiramisu, but they also have brownie and lotus flavors. I'll have to try a different flavor next time! To cut to the chase, the basic classic tiramisu was already delicious, so the other flavors are probably great too haha.

What does the classic tiramisu at Central Site Hapjeong taste like?

The classic tiramisu at Central Site came out perfectly square. How did they cut it so neatly?! Cocoa powder evenly dusted on top, plus finely grated chocolate — a completely authentic Italian-style classic tiramisu 🫶

Pressing it gently with a fork, it came away soft and melted in my mouth 🤤 Honestly might be the softest, sweetest tiramisu I've had in a while?! It especially went well with the coffee, love that. The syrup was moist enough that the cocoa powder didn't feel dry, and the cream wasn't too heavy or too light.

Who should visit Central Site Hapjeong near Hapjeong Station?

I'd recommend Central Site, this café near Hapjeong Station, since the tiramisu pairs so well with the drip coffee. The atmosphere is nice too, so it's good for a date, and since it's closer than you'd think from Mangwon or Hongdae, I'd recommend Central Site Hapjeong's hand drip if you're looking for a café on a quiet street.
