Where is Yard in Bomun-danji, Gyeongju, and what are its hours?

Café Yard is at 2 Cheongun 2-gil, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongbuk, right along the main road by Gyeongju World. It's open daily from 09:00 to 20:00, and parking is available both beside and in front of the café.

We went on a spontaneous family drive to Gyeongju over the weekend. We had some business in Bomun-danji and happened to stop by Café Yard on the way — it's very close to Bomun-danji and Gyeongju World, and there was plenty of parking nearby, so it was easy to use.

A wide field of yellow cosmos spread out in front of the café, making it a great stop on a drive 👍 This is the view-spot café in Gyeongju that our whole family loved, thanks to the 1,000-pyeong flower field right in front. Before even going inside, we parked and admired the fully bloomed yellow cosmos to our heart's content. What a view!!

They say the flowers change with the season, and right now the yellow cosmos were in full swing! (Bloom period Aug 15 - Oct 15) It's such a great spot for seasonal photos at this Bomun-danji café in Gyeongju. My inner photographer switched on and I had a blast shooting away.

This Bomun-danji café in Gyeongju, Yard, is a spacious two-story brunch café. Both floors have full glass windows, great for taking in the scenery, and there's terrace seating, which was perfect for relaxing outdoors in this nice weather.

The bean bag seats on Yard's second floor. Apparently in spring you can enjoy cherry blossoms filling the window too. My family got so comfortable in the bean bags they didn't want to get up, haha.

Yard's drink menu and how to order

Ordering at this Bomun-danji café in Gyeongju is done conveniently via kiosk. Since we'd already eaten lunch, we ordered coffee and drinks.

Yard also has a variety of cakes and baked goods, but since we visited on a weekend afternoon, most were sold out. Judging by how most tables had bread with their drinks, it must be a bakery favorite.

The self-service corner was fully stocked too.

There's a restroom inside the café, which was convenient to use.

Yard's iced milk tea, 6.5. A cup of milk tea while gazing at the fully bloomed yellow cosmos completely washed away a week's worth of stress. Also fun to watch couples dating in the breeze — good times.

Fresh tomato juice made from blended fruit, 7.0, and the house vanilla bean latte, 6.5. My sister, who's been really into health lately, ordered these — she said it had a healthy, fruity taste. The coffee was a latte with just the right amount of sweetness, and I enjoyed it too.

The weather was so perfect for a drive that just looking at the sky in Gyeongju put me in a good mood. That's it for my review of Yard, a Bomun-danji café in Gyeongju — a great spot for a date course and for taking amazing photos.
