🌊 An ocean-view café you stumble on while walking the Olle trail: Robain Coffee

Today I'm introducing a café I visited myself, right in front of Sinchon Port in Jocheon, Jeju — Robain Coffee Jeju Jocheon Sinchon Branch. Jeju's sea looks pretty from anywhere, but the view I got while sitting in Robain Coffee was just gorgeous 😊

Robain Coffee sits near the Sinchon Olle trail. When you're walking the Olle trail, your legs get tired and your sugar drops, right? This is exactly the spot to stop by. It's a big café building, so the moment I stepped in I felt that cool, spacious sense — it's split into a 1st floor and 2nd floor.

What we ordered at Robain Coffee and what it cost

At Robain Coffee we ordered two iced americanos at ₩6,000 each and a honey cake with walnut at ₩7,000. We figured the sea view would be better upstairs, so after ordering we headed to the 2nd floor — and it was a total win! 👍

They also had organic teas and other desserts, but I didn't get to try them this time. I'll challenge myself next visit and add a review haha

What is the first floor and its seating like?

The 1st floor of Robain Coffee was really lovely too. The space feels so comfortable.

It's a space that's genuinely fun to look around. I think adults would enjoy it too.

The seats were really comfortable too, great for spending time with a group.

The owner runs coffee classes, so they're truly serious about the beans~ The americano tasted really good too.

The annex next door, with stone walls and a lawn

Right next to Robain Coffee there's also an annex. The stone walls blend with the grass, giving off strong Jeju vibes. It's great to wander around after your coffee, and it made for really pretty photos 📸 Leaving after just the sea view would be a shame, so make sure to walk a loop around the annex too!

A weekday second-floor window seat, plus solo seats

This is the window I sat by — it just doesn't come through in photos. It's really, truly beautiful.

Every room has wide windows, so it's nice to sit anywhere.

There are solo seats too, so you can face the sea and spend time alone.

Coming on a weekday made it this good. There weren't many people on the 2nd floor, and I loved that.

The seating is spacious, so it's no burden even with a large group.

Robain Coffee, like a scene out of a movie

It's really spacious, but the layout is well signposted so we managed to look around all of it.

Robain Coffee has a rooftop too! The sea view from inside is nice, but on the rooftop you can enjoy your coffee with the raw, natural Jeju wind on your face. Facing the sea with no glass in between feels so much more vivid — your hair gets a little messy, but that's just part of the flavor of traveling Jeju 😆 On windy days, I'd recommend bringing a light jacket.

How were the americano and the honey cake?

Robain Coffee's iced americano was clean with no bitterness sticking out — turns out the owner runs a roastery academy. So there was a reason behind the flavor! The Malenka cake paired well with the coffee too, and we kept saying "this is so good" as we polished it off in no time 🍰

The romance level here is off the charts

A cup of coffee while looking at the sea feels like a small luxury of traveling Jeju. If you want to rest while walking the Olle trail and enjoy the ocean view, rooftop wind, and stone-wall annex all in one place, I recommend Robain Coffee.
