In short

Central Site Hapjeong is a roastery café in Mapo, Seoul, straight along the side street from Exit 1 of Hapjeong Station. The writer met a friend visiting from Busan and ordered two brewing coffees and one tiramisu cake, and the Guatemala Entre Volcanes washed arrived with a bean card explaining its growing region and processing. Ta-daa! My friend who lives far away in Busan came all the way to Seoul to see me today. Since she'd traveled so far, I looked for a café close to the station and found Central Site in Hapjeong! It's a pretty famous café chain, so I was surprised to see a branch here too — Central Site is good wherever you go, haha.

Where is Central Site Hapjeong, the café right by Hapjeong Station?

Today I went looking for a café near Hapjeong and found Central Site Coffee Roasters ☕️ It's just a short walk to the side from Exit 1 of Hapjeong Station, so accessibility was already excellent. Easy to meet up here for plans, and also a great spot to stop for coffee after a meal in Hapjeong!

What we ordered: two brewing coffees and a tiramisu cake

What we ordered that day was 2 brewing coffees + 1 tiramisu cake 🤎 Usually when I go to a café I stick to familiar drinks like Americano or latte, but this time I went a little special and picked brewing coffee!! Central Site has a wide variety of beans available, so if you're a coffee lover, browsing the menu is fun in itself ><

Two brewing coffees served in individual cups

The coffees we drank each came out in their own cup, and it had a different feel from a typical café coffee — nice to sip slowly while taking in the aroma 🤤🤤🤤

And the tiramisu cake 🍰 we ordered with the coffee — it looked so delicious just from the visual, with soft cream and coffee flavor blending together, perfect to eat alongside the brewing coffee.

One bite of tiramisu, one sip of coffee — the sweetness mingles with the bitterness of the coffee and you just keep reaching for more… I guess coffee really can't do without dessert, haha.

What is the service and table turnover like at Central Site?

The staff at the Hapjeong branch were kind, there seemed to be several of them, and customers came and went fluidly with a steady flow. It felt like a café that's popular and well run in a systematic way.

Guatemala Entre Volcanes washed, served with a bean card

What I especially liked was that the coffee came with a description of the beans. The beans I drank were Guatemala Entre Volcanes washed, and knowing the growing region and processing method while drinking made it so much more interesting than just having a plain cup of coffee!!

Wood-toned roastery interior and window seats

And personally, what I liked about Central Site was the café atmosphere 🥹💟💟💟💟 Overall, a lot of wood and brown-toned furniture was used, giving it a warm, calm feel, and there were little coffee-bean-related props scattered around that gave it the unique mood of a roastery café 😽

The window seats in particular felt even better thanks to the natural light coming in… There were several types of tables set up, so it looked good for coming alone for coffee too, and also perfect for spending time leisurely chatting with a friend like we did 🌷 If you're looking for a nice-vibe café near Hapjeong Station, or you love drip or brewing coffee, this place is worth a visit 🤗

By the counter, various beans and coffee-related products were on display, and browsing them was fun too 🎶 It felt less like a café that just serves coffee and more like a space where you can properly enjoy coffee itself!

Why Central Site Hapjeong works before or after plans in Hapjeong

That day I spent a relaxed time with my friend, having two coffees and tiramisu together. It's a good spot to drop by briefly before or after plans in Hapjeong, and if you visit with a coffee-loving friend, talking about the beans while drinking adds to the fun! Being close to Hapjeong Station is also a big plus, so next time I'm in Hapjeong I'd love to stop by again for a coffee. Highly recommending this Hapjeong café, Central Site — such a nice-vibe coffee spot!
