Tapgol Gongwon Jongno 3-ga Branch was already full at 6pm on a weekday. We came right after finishing work at 5, so it was 6pm now~~ but seriously no seats!!
I bet the weekend wait is even worse.
Unexpectedly we waited a little at 6pm on a weekday, but with so many tables a seat opened up fast. Waited about 10 minutes I think.

Tapgol Gongwon Jongno 3-ga Branch is a frozen pork belly place but has quite a variety of side dishes, and ALL of them are self-refillable!! The self-bar has lettuce, garlic, chili, kimchi, radish strips, bracken fern, green onion kimchi, bean sprouts — everything ready.
The interior of Jongno 3-ga's frozen pork belly favorite Tapgol Gongwon Jongno 3-ga Branch kind of has that Cheong*dang feel.
The green onion kimchi and salted fermented squid (ojingeo jeotgal) were so tasty and the kimchi was just the right ripeness for grilling alongside the meat.

In the pork belly fat, grilled up kimchi, bean sprouts, bracken fern really nicely then ordered rice and made our own fried rice on the grill from this point we were drinking so hard my memory gets a little hazy
