I went out to Magok and stopped by the taco spot Taqueros Magok Main Branch for the Taqueros Signature Couple Set~! I'm someone who already enjoys Mexican food regularly, so I was happy to make the trip to Taqueros Magok Main Branch, which has gotten word-of-mouth for its fajitas. It's known as a Magok date spot with great atmosphere, so I went in full of excitement!
How to get to Taqueros Magok Main Branch, parking and the wedding-invitation gathering perk
Taqueros Magok Main Branch is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Magok Station, so it was really easy to find. It's located inside a parking tower building, and they support 2 hours of free parking registration when you use the ground-level parking inside the building — very handy if you're driving!
If you make a Naver Reservation and leave a note about a wedding-invite gathering or a birthday, then show proof when you visit, they run a nice event giving out a free cheesecake — perfect for a wedding-invite gathering spot!

Even the exterior gave off that exotic, stylish Mexican vibe, catching my eye right from the entrance. Taqueros Magok Main Branch is Taqueros de Jalisco, the second brand from the Mexican brand Jalisco, and it's described as a relaxed, easygoing family restaurant.

Inside Taqueros Magok: seating and free corkage
Walking into Taqueros Magok Main Branch, I loved the warm, soft lighting paired with cozy, plush sofa seating. The tables were spaced generously too, so I could eat comfortably without bumping into other diners' paths. There's also group seating for up to 16, which looked great for gatherings or work dinners.

The interior is stylish enough that it really deserves its reputation as a Magok date spot for couples or friends. They also offer free corkage, so you can bring your own drink of choice! Overall, the space was kept neat and clean, which let me focus on the meal comfortably and happily.
What's on the Taqueros menu

There was a menu booklet outside the store, and I liked that besides the well-put-together sets and tacos, there were also options like ribs and chimichangas.

After sitting down and scanning the QR code, I saw a solid lineup of varied taco and fajita dishes, which made choosing fun. Each item had its main ingredients and description laid out clearly, which made picking easy. Taqueros says all their meats and salsas are made in-house with their own recipes, and I could really feel the care put into that!

There were well-composed sets that let you enjoy a variety of dishes at once, so we ordered the couple set.
Free nacho chips and house-made queso dip

Right after we ordered, the nacho cheese came out first — apparently it's provided free with any order! Dipping the crunchy nacho chips into the savory house-made queso dip got my mouth watering haha. Nachos are refillable too, so you can order more as you go~!
Taqueros Signature Couple Set (for 2): what you get

Not long after ordering, a neat and generous fajita arrived on a sizzling plate that kept its heat for a long time. Beautifully browned meat, savory sautéed vegetables, warm tortillas, and the restaurant's own house-made sauces were all laid out abundantly, and I couldn't help but be impressed. The generous presentation grabbed my attention instantly, and I immediately understood why this is a popular Magok date spot~!
The main meat had zero gamy smell and released clean, savory juices the more I chewed — it was genuinely delicious. I piled the grilled meat and crunchy vegetables onto a soft tortilla, then added guacamole, sour cream, and tomato salsa to taste and happily wrapped it all up haha.
I really liked how the varied sauce combinations gave me a pleasantly new flavor with every bite. All the sauces except guacamole were free to refill, so I could load up on sauce as much as I wanted haha. The tenderness of the meat and the crunch of the vegetables came together wonderfully, filling each bite with rich, savory flavor.

The free tortillas and sauces paired so well that I never got bored all the way to the last bite — it was satisfying and delicious throughout~! The portion was generous enough for two people to share with plenty to spare, showing off the kind of generosity you'd expect from a proper Magok date spot.

The set also came with a soft, deeply flavorful fish taco and a crunchy, spicy chicken taco, each charming in its own way. Neither was overly strong, and the deep, natural flavor of the ingredients — clearly made with care — really came through, letting me fully enjoy Mexican food. The balance of meat, vegetables, and tortilla made for a very satisfying and happy meal~!
Orange ade with 1,500 won off when ordered with a set

The orange ade we ordered alongside the set had juicy orange bits you could bite into along with a refreshing fizz — really cooling. Ordering a set gets you ₩1,500 off any ade, which was a nice touch!
The orange ade had just the right balance of sweetness and tartness, so it paired wonderfully with the heavier fajita dish haha. Sipping it between bites of fajita did a great job of cutting through the richness and refreshing my palate.
Is Taqueros Magok worth it for a date?
Taqueros Magok Main Branch was a wonderful Magok date spot where I could enjoy both the fajita, full of house-made care, and a refreshing ade at the same time. The freshness of the house-made meat and salsa felt great, and combined with the relaxed atmosphere of the space, it made for a memorable meal. Thanks to the cozy space and thoughtful food, I think I'll be excitedly coming back every time I crave fajita~!
