Daegu waffle café with peanut cream: Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort
In short
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch is a four-story café in Dong-gu, Daegu, with café seating from the second through fourth floors. I had a granola peanut cream waffle, Sangha Farm ice cream, and warm herbal tea by a second-floor window; the waffle was satisfying, and I liked the spacious parking and varied seating.

While on a business trip to Daegu, I was looking for a café near my accommodation for dessert and visited Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch (핸즈커피 동촌유원지점). I was curious about its range of waffles and Sangha Farm ice cream.

Was parking and moving between floors convenient?
Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch was a four-story café on Hyodong-ro 6-gil in Dong-gu, Daegu. It had a spacious parking lot.

Since I was getting around by car, parking mattered to me. There was plenty of space when I visited, so I could park comfortably.

The café was available from the second through fourth floors. An elevator made moving between floors easy, and the space was larger than I expected, so I took my time looking around.

What was on the menu besides waffles?
The first thing I looked at inside was the desserts. There were so many waffle options that it was not easy to choose just one.

They also sold ciabatta, which looked suitable for a light meal. The bear-shaped chocolate cakes on display also caught my eye.

There were teas and other drinks as well as coffee. I thought there were options even for someone visiting with a person who does not drink coffee.

There was also a separate brunch menu. I had dessert this time, but after seeing the menu, I thought it would be nice to return for brunch next time.

How did the seating and atmosphere differ by floor?
The second floor was fairly spacious and had group seating. It looked suitable for coming with several people to talk or meet.

I chose a window seat on the second floor. It was nice to take a short break while enjoying dessert and tea and looking outside.

The third floor felt a little quieter than the second. With two-person tables and bar-style seating, it looked suitable for sitting alone too.

The fourth floor had floor seating and an outdoor terrace. On a nice day, I thought it would be pleasant to spend time on the terrace. I liked that each floor had a different seating arrangement, so I could choose the atmosphere I wanted.

What did the granola peanut cream waffle taste like?
I ordered the granola peanut cream waffle, Sangha Farm ice cream, and warm herbal tea.

The warm waffle came topped with peanut cream and granola, with ice cream served on one side. I especially liked how the granola added a crisp texture.

The nutty, sweet peanut cream, crisp granola, and smooth ice cream made a satisfying combination. The Sangha Farm ice cream had a rich milk flavor.
The warm herbal tea also went well with the waffle. Taking a sip of tea between bites of the sweet waffle felt refreshing.

I liked the herbal tea, so I also took photos of the product.

I came because I was curious about the waffles, but choosing a spot to eat and rest was enjoyable too. I liked the time I spent having tea and dessert by the second-floor window, and the spacious parking and elevator made the visit convenient.
