Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch is about a 5-minute walk from Sillim Station Exit 6. It's right on a main street so it's easy to find. We booked on Naver for a weekday 3pm visit, and since it was past lunch, the restaurant felt pretty relaxed.

Pug Pizza House has two branches — Gangnam and Sillim. This signature dog illustration totally steals the show✨ The Sillim branch opened earlier this year, and it's become my go-to pizza spot that I visit regularly. When I go for pizza, I pay attention to both toppings and dough, and Pug Pizza stuck with me the first time I tried it because of the chewy texture unique to bagel dough. Walk into the restaurant and there are regular tables on the 1st floor, while the 3rd floor pet zone is available for anyone visiting with a pet. They're also running a free pet pizza event, and you can reserve the pet zone in advance via Naver! On the 2nd floor there are tables for groups of 8 or more too. The chair cushions are nice and soft, so it's comfortable to sit for a long time haha.

Another thing I loved about Pug Pizza House was the self bar. There are 4 sauces — chipotle, corn butter, garlic dipping, and ranch — and you can take as much as you want. Pickles and hot sauce are also unlimited, and you can grab ice yourself too. I like to switch sauces depending on the pizza, so I love places with a self bar like this haha.

It's kept well maintained too. First time seeing corn butter — huge expectations✨ Corn and butter together can't possibly taste bad,,,🥹

Last time we had rosé spaghetti, but this time we went for gnocchi! I love mushrooms so I picked truffle mushroom gnocchi, and greens or salad are a must whenever we eat pizza too. Ordering XR size for two gives you 6 slices total, and each slice is so generous it's really filling👏

Pug Pizza House bagel dough: chewy as always

When I think of Pug Pizza, the dough is what comes to mind first. It uses glutinous rice and bagel ingredients, so it's chewier and softer than typical pizza dough. Rather than thin and crispy pizza, this is a style where you enjoy the thick dough itself along with everything else, so if you love pizza like me, it's worth trying at least once. The toppings are generous too, so you end up eating right to the crust haha.

Amazing Shrimp pizza: what it tastes like

The Amazing Shrimp we added this time was topped with plump shrimp, so the texture was great from the first bite. The shrimp's clean, savory-salty flavor pairs well with the pizza, and if you like seafood, this is a menu you can't really go wrong with! The toppings were generous enough that you could really taste the shrimp even in one slice. And the salty swing chips scattered on top gave off total beer-snack vibes✨

Oriental mini salad

The mini salad🫶🏻 that we order every time we come. Fresh radicchio, romaine, and cherry tomatoes come in a small bowl, topped with oriental dressing and parmesan cheese — perfect to pair with pizza.

Truffle mushroom gnocchi

The truffle mushroom gnocchi we tried from the gnocchi set. Chewy gnocchi with the savory flavor of mushrooms and a subtle hint of truffle aroma. Alternating between the pizza and this worked really well together. If two of you are visiting and want to try several dishes, I recommend the pizza + gnocchi combo! The sauce is hot, so be careful when eating!

I love arugula too, and there's plenty of bacon and mushroom in it as well haha. The sauce isn't too thick — it has a bit of a runny texture, so dipping the pizza crust in it was delicious too~

Fig jambon beurre arugula pizza

Today's top pick pizza, fig jambon beurre arugula. It's not actual fresh figs — it's fig jam on top, adding a mild sweetness combined with the saltiness of jambon, finished off fragrant with arugula! A sweet-and-salty combo that's clearly different from your typical pizza! I love these distinctive pizzas, so I really enjoyed this combination too.

Since the jam on the fig pizza drips, I rolled it up and folded it before eating^^ A big bite is heavenly🥹✨

Cheese-milk dip and the bagel edge

I always add the cheese-milk edge? The salty, savory flavor of the whole cheese pairs so well with each unlimited sauce from the self bar,,, the garlic dipping sauce is also amazing, and Pug Pizza House lets you refill it unlimited✨✨✨

First time trying the corn butter sauce, and it's a hit, hit✨✨ It has a sweet corn syrup flavor so it feels like eating a dessert bread — so delicious ㅠㅠ

Is Pug Pizza House Sillim good for a date?

If you're like me and love pizza dates, you should try Pug Pizza House at least once🍕 We've come back so many times that Pug Pizza House is the first thing we think of when it comes to pizza in Sillim. There are many kinds of pizza and also gnocchi, pasta, and salad, so it's great for two people to go and share a variety of dishes.

There's group seating on the 2nd floor too, so it's good for Sillim work dinners or gatherings, and having a separate pet zone on the 3rd floor is a plus since you can dine together with your dog!
