How do you get to Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon?

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch is a ground-floor café close to Exit 1 of Sinnonhyeon Station. I got off at Nonhyeon Station and walked over, but Sinnonhyeon Station is way closer, so if you're heading there, go for Exit 1.

I got off work early today, went to the dermatologist, and had a laser hair removal appointment booked, so I stopped by while I was in the Sinnonhyeon area anyway. (You're supposed to shave carefully the night before laser hair removal, but I did it half-heartedly and got sent back to redo it... ha, so embarrassing. Total tmi, but if you're getting laser hair removal, shave thoroughly!) After that I went to Selecto Coffee nearby.

I could see the sign from far away, and whoa, it was way bigger than I expected! It's on the ground floor and the orange sign really stood out.

And there are seats where you can sit outside! The weather's been really cool lately with no fine dust, so it's the perfect spot to sit outside and chat.

More than sandwiches: what's in the display case

The showcase at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon isn't just sandwiches — there's bread and cake in there too. Bingsu (shaved ice dessert) is also sold.

Once you step inside, there's bread and cake in the showcase too. I thought it was just famous for sandwiches, but they also have bagels, cake, bingsu, and a really wide drink lineup...

But I came for the sandwiches haha, so as a sandwich lover, seeing this many kinds made me so happy just thinking about what to choose^____^

Oh right, they have salads too, and each salad comes with its matching dressing combo listed! The salads looked like a good price and a generous portion, so I wanted to try one too, ㅠ

Smoked salmon sandwich: 2-pack or light version?

As you'd expect from a café known for sandwiches, Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon's sandwiches are big and the price is nice too...! There's also a light version for people who can't finish two. I'm not a light eater, so I went straight for the 2-pack (no hesitation).

I debated between the ricotta sandwich, the chicken sandwich, and the smoked salmon sandwich, and ended up picking salmon haha 🍣 But honestly I want to try them all one by one ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

The print zone inside Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon

There's a print zone tucked in one corner of Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon. I wondered why on earth there'd be a print zone here... and it turns out this place is actually a famous study café!!!

When you're studying and rush out without some material you left behind, it's super stressful and you can't focus — but here you can look things up right away and even scan and print, so having this in a café feels genuinely revolutionary. Perfect for studying!!

It's even open 24 hours — even after the store itself closes, the print zone apparently keeps running unmanned! Even if you're not using the café, it seems like a good place to come by when you urgently need to print something.

Study seats, outlets and the atmosphere at Selecto Coffee

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon has spacious seating that never feels cramped, and since a lot of people come to study alone, the solo seats are well set up.

There's a good variety of seating! It looks like there are outlets at every seat, and since there were clearly people studying, the atmosphere inside the café was quiet.

There's also a spot like this that's comfortable for laptop work. There was one seat left here so I quickly 💨 grabbed it. I like corners haha.

Mocha blend vs geisha: how the two Americanos taste

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon has a really wide range of Americano bean options, and I ordered one mocha blend and one geisha. I don't know much about beans, but there was a description written out, so I read it and ordered. Iced Americanos were reasonably priced, and the other drinks seemed like good value too.

I tried both, and the mocha blend definitely had this chocolate-like aroma, while the geisha was described as having acidity (I'm not into sharp acidity, ㅠ), so I hesitated before trying it, but it wasn't sharp at all — just right. I wasn't expecting much from the coffee, but both were surprisingly delicious ㅋㅋㅋ꙼̈ And they went really well with the sandwich!

And now the main event — the sandwich...! Packed with vegetables and stuffed full inside haha. Isn't it really big too...?!

My face is hidden too. But that's actually because I held my hand out in front of it.

I was so excited eating something delicious ㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ Nom nom. For this price, this level of sandwich quality is genuinely pretty great. And the taste was good too...
