Late-night pizza until 2am near Yeomchang Station, Seoul: Eopija

Here's my review of Eopija, a pizza place near Yeongchang Station with tons of pizza options that's open until the wee hours.

The weather's gotten cooler, so I went for an evening walk and got hungry. I ended up dropping by Eopija, a Yeongchang Station restaurant-bar right next to the Wolchon public parking lot in Mok 2-dong.

The first thing that caught my eye about Eopija was the hours — open until 2am!! These days most places close early, so when you're chatting with friends and it drags on, there's nowhere to go. Finding a place open this late made me really happy.

I visited after 10pm and there were about 3-4 tables of customers.

📝First, let's pick a menu. The rugola pizza is a signature item here, and since I love rugola so much, I went with the Rugola and Cheese Pizza 😊

I figured it'd go great with tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), so

• Side dish can be swapped for Cajun potato or oven spaghetti instead of tteokbokki

Eopija's non-alcoholic mojito

Pretty, right, the non-alcoholic mojito? I ordered it because I wanted to treat myself for once 💚 It's a rum smash made with mojito rum syrup as the base plus lime juice, so it's tangy, fragrant and a little sweet~ There was also a nice apple mint scent on top, really lovely.

I hadn't waited long sipping my drink before the pizza arrived — and wow, the size! It came beautifully arranged on a huge tray with pizza / cheese tteokbokki / salad / nachos all together.

What comes in Eopija's Set A tray

First off, the sheer size is overwhelming. A half pizza plus nachos, tteokbokki, and salad — the spread is really great. The pizza cheese must be good quality, because it was so nutty and delicious.

The rugola was piled on generously, so if you like it, this'll be a very satisfying menu item for you.

Do I even need to mention the cheese pizza — that stretchy cheese pull, yum yum~~

I noticed there was a garlic sauce, so I dipped a bite in. Tastes like honey — delicious!! 😊

How spicy is the cheese tteokbokki?

The tteokbokki also had plenty of mozzarella cheese piled in, made with wheat rice cakes, and the spice level was moderate enough that even kids could eat it. The two of us, who can't handle spicy food well, were very happy with the heat level 🔥 Eating tteokbokki alongside the pizza was an amazing combo. (Never got greasy or heavy for even a moment.)

The nachos and salad in Set A

I can't skip mentioning the nachos. They were delicious not just because they were crispy, but because the corn-scented dip was so special. It paired perfectly with the nachos, and I really enjoyed eating them.

The salad comes in a small bowl, about palm-sized. Jalapeños, olives, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, corn, and — ranch dressing? The salad tasted like the familiar, ordinary kind we all know!

Tips for visiting Eopija: self-serve bar, restroom, screens

There's a self-service bar with water, parmesan cheese, floss, and mouthwash, all conveniently available,

The restroom is outside, up the stairs on the right, first floor, no passcode needed ^^

I haven't seen a phone charging service in a while, so hats off to the thoughtful owner 👍

Lastly, there are two screens inside the hall — during World Cup or Olympics season, this spacious spot would be amazing for watching sports!! Right now a famous movie OST was playing.

Is Set A enough food for two people?

We ate really well and got very full. There were two of us, and the portion was plenty — we headed home with stuffed bellies. With such a varied menu, you can pick a pizza to suit your taste, and the vibe is great for casually chatting with friends. I'm really proud to have found a spot where you can hang out and talk late into the night.
