What to order first at Central Site Yeonnam: Quebraditas Geisha

The tastiest thing at Central Site Yeonnam was the Quebraditas Geisha — and I say that as someone who loves nutty coffee!

Menu rec coming in hot lol. I'm a nutty-coffee person but the Quebraditas Geisha was SO good!!!!!!! Apricot, peach, white grape 🍑🍇 kind of notes — not heavy, but also not sour!!! I hate sour stuff but I drank this happily... recommend it if you like light coffee.

Finding Central Site Yeonnam on a Hongdae date

Today was a date with a close noona 😘 We'd just eaten and were looking at the map for where to go next when — wait, is this the same Central Site I went to in Hapjeong?

The filter coffee and tiramisu here are supposed to be amazing?? Let's go.

It's in a three-story building. Come out Exit 3 of Hongik University Station and it's just a short walk.

The building and the mood on each of the three floors

The inside of Central Site Yeonnam was bigger than I expected! Lots of seats, three floors, and an overall dark-toned mood — modern, calm, and hip at the same time. Great for a date, and there's seating on the 1st floor too, not just the order counter.

If you're alone and want to eat quietly or get work done, the 1st floor seems great!!? The 2nd floor was crowded. Let's check the 3rd floor. The stairs going up had this green vibe, almost like an outdoor terrace — wait, is this outside!!??

Oh, even better. It was just trees visible through the window lol, giving off that terrace feel. Back down to the 1st floor to order~~~

At Central Site Yeonnam I picked the Guatemala (nutty) at ₩8,000, and the friend I was with picked the Ethiopia single-origin (floral) at ₩13,000. I remembered every coffee here being good, so I couldn't decide and asked for a recommendation — and got one ☆

Can't skip the tiramisu — this place is a tiramisu spot!!!! Come for this — no wait, the coffee's amazing too, but anyway. They make it in-house, not bought in. I went at 3pm and a fresh batch was coming out right then.

They also have Lotus tiramisu and 🍓strawberry🍓 tiramisu, but I always go classic tiramisu — ₩8,500.

The aroma service: smelling the beans freshly ground

Customers kept coming in, and now I get why it's so popular. When I ordered coffee, they offered to let me smell the beans, so I went over to watch them grind it.

Wow, this kind of service — I felt spoiled hahahaha ☕️☕️☕️ Ground it myself, smelled it, and my friend's order genuinely smelled floral!!!???? She doesn't drink much coffee usually but said this was fragrant like tea, so she liked it.

The vibe is great.

Guatemala vs Ethiopia single-origin: how the two cups differ

They bring it to your table if you're already seated!!! So kind...

Guatemala filter coffee (nutty), ₩8,000

The Guatemala beans were roasted darker, so the color was deeper? Interesting — the flavor was also stronger, with a real hazelnut note, just fascinating!!!! A clean-style filter coffee + nutty — exactly the good coffee taste we all know!!

Ethiopia single-origin filter coffee (floral), ₩13,000

The moment you sip this, a gentle floral note comes through, not heavy, kind of light going down???? They said jasmine, floral 🌸 — and that's exactly it!!! So interesting. Like tea, fragrant.

Isn't the owner's recommendation great? If you're stuck deciding, just ask them to recommend one!!!

Classic tiramisu, ₩8,500: a cream-heavy style

The big moment — tiramisu 🍫🍫🍫 The classic tiramisu at Central Site Yeonnam has a soft, cream-heavy style. If you usually like cream-rich desserts, you'll definitely love this texture!!

And the chocolate topping on top was super rich (kind of like a strong Hershey's feel), which matched really well with the bitter cocoa powder. Soft and sweet but not painfully sweet!??? Went so well with the coffee. A total, total sugar-charge kind of taste 💘💘

Great for Instagram, great vibe. They use big cube ice too, which is hip on its own — was what I ordered a whiskey, or...?

The free taste of Quebraditas Geisha was the best part

+ Oh, and while I was going back and forth on which beans to pick, they gave me a Quebraditas Geisha sample to try, and this was the best one!!!! Even as a nutty-coffee lover, that peach, apricot, white grape🍑🍇 note!!!! Total bullseye for my taste!!!! From now on I'm definitely getting this one 🍑🍑🍑

The coffee is seriously good,,,,, oh and if you do the review event, they give you chunky chocolate. The chocolate on top of the tiramisu here was delicious too, so definitely do it and grab one~~

Final verdict: would I go back to Central Site Yeonnam?

The basic coffee quality is good, so whenever I'm around Hongdae I'll definitely go again. Next time I want to try the Lotus tiramisu I was curious about 🍪🥜🍪🥜

Oh, and the bathroom was clean and really nice too. Frankly, it's a bathroom-visual that won't bother even the pickiest person~ (I care a lot about bathrooms so this scores extra points lol)
