Picnic List Mangwon: mat and tent rentals across from the Mangwon Han River Park entrance
Picnic List Mangwon is a picnic gear rental shop right across from the main entrance to Mangwon Han River Park. The basic rental time is 3 hours, and an all-day pass (6 hours) is ₩10,000. It's a great spot to rent a mat and tent for a Mangwon Han River picnic! The weather's gotten so nice and cool lately, perfect for a Han River date, right?! I hurried over to Mangwon Han River Park and rented a mat and tent — here's my review!

What Picnic List Mangwon looks like from outside

The location of Picnic List Mangwon is amazing! It's the closest spot to the entrance of Mangwon Han River Park, so renting and returning gear is super convenient.
How to rent by QR code during unmanned hours
Inside the shop: wagons, shelves and gear

When I visited, it was during unmanned operating hours! Since it partly runs unstaffed, the rental fees are nice and cheap, hehe.

The basic rental time is 3 hours, with an extra hour costing ₩5,000 — but you get one free extra hour for writing a Naver review! The all-day pass (6 hours) is also super cheap at just ₩10,000.
The basic set is only ₩10,000! The 3-item set is also ₩10,000. There's a build-your-own full set, a picnic plus set, an event plus set and more — you can pick whichever components you want or just rent a set as-is, whatever's easiest for you!

During unmanned hours, you just scan the QR code and rent items yourself.

The items were well organized on shelves with each item's name clearly labeled, so it wasn't hard at all to grab things myself.

What you can rent at Picnic List Mangwon
Tables, board games, parasols, tents, mats, blankets, mirrors, wine glasses, cutting boards, bubble machines, Bluetooth speakers — they have everything!

They even have pillows, and you can pick whichever chairs you like! Honestly, grabbing items yourself with no staff around isn't hard at all, and being able to use everything so cheaply feels like a total win, don't you think?!

They also have lights and garlands, great for setting a date mood! If you have any questions, message the KakaoTalk channel 'Picnic List Mangwon' and they'll respond quickly.
Renting six items: embossed mat, large mat, table, tent, camping chair and fan

I rented an embossed mat, large mat, table, tent, camping chair and fan! I packed everything neatly into a wagon and set up at a nice spot in Mangwon Han River Park.
For reference, tents are allowed at Mangwon Han River Park from March through November! In March–May and September–November, you can use them until 7 PM, and in June–August, until 8 PM! Mats have no time or season restrictions.

The camping chair even had a thoughtful drink holder, so sitting there sipping coffee and zoning out by the Han River was amazing! Since the place only opened recently, none of the items felt used at all — they still felt brand new!

I rented a fan too, just in case it got hot! There was also a table, great for eating, hehe. The items aren't just functional — they're all trendy designs, so they photograph beautifully too.
I was glad I rented a tent to block the sun — parasols are available too, in case you're wondering! Sitting in the camping chair zoning out, then heading into the tent to rest, then lying on the mat rolling around... it was seriously the best.

A fall picnic on the Mangwon Han River lawn
The Han River view from the camping chair! Isn't a Han River picnic the best way to really soak in fall?! I make sure to go to the Han River at least once every spring and fall — who needs a trip to Europe, honestly.

You've got to look at all that green — it really melts the stress away.

I even read a book! Reading in the camping chair, then lying down on the mat to read some more — this is happiness.

The sky, looking up from inside the tent!! With such affordable prices and clean gear, Picnic List Mangwon makes it so easy to have a mat picnic at Mangwon Han River Park. Highly recommend!!
