I was looking for a bar in Hannam-dong with a bit of a different vibe from the usual, and that's how I ended up at EOD! It's not your typical cocktail-and-whiskey bar — it's a hookah bar in Hannam-dong, Seoul where you can enjoy shisha (water pipe smoking), so I was curious. I'm a non-smoker myself, but my friend smokes, so we figured we'd both get to enjoy something there! Once I walked in, it was way more comfortable and had a much better atmosphere than I expected, so it turned out to be a great spot to slowly sip a drink and hang out.
I was curious what the vibe would be like, and once inside, it was more comfortable and dim than I imagined — a great place to stay a while over a drink.
What is the atmosphere like at EOD in Hannam-dong?
Inside EOD, the lighting is low and the mood is calm overall. Rather than a bright, noisy bar, it feels like a place to talk and sip slowly! If you like the kind of moody, atmospheric bars Hannam-dong is known for, this one should suit you well. It seemed like a great spot for a date, and equally good for a group of friends coming together to enjoy hookah.

What caught my eye most was, of course, the HOOKAH / SHISHA menu! Hookah is ₩50,000 as pictured, and refills are ₩20,000. You can even choose the strength of the smoke — Beginner, Standard, or Pro — so it's less intimidating even if it's your first time.
The flavor selection was pretty extensive too. From refreshing options like pineapple, lemon, orange, and kiwi to double apple, blueberry, coconut, watermelon, raspberry, peach, grape, and melon — there was a lot to choose from. Mint can be added to any flavor. There's also a signature blend on the menu, so if picking a single flavor feels overwhelming, going with the blend option works too.

Hygiene is honestly what I worry about most with shisha, and at EOD, the part that touches your mouth comes as a separate disposable mouthpiece! That was great, especially since everyone in the group can use their own.

The bar's atmosphere was so good it seemed perfect for couples to come and enjoy too.
We ordered a bottle of white wine! We asked for a recommendation and this is what we got! They opened it for us and even fitted a stopper on what was left over!

They kept the white wine chilled separately for us, and the wine glasses were so pretty haha, they matched the vibe perfectly.
When you're at a bar, the restroom really matters, right? It's inside the venue and was clean, which I appreciated!

When you order hookah at EOD, they give you a little card with the date, the staff member's name, and the flavor you chose. It's nice to be able to check right away what flavor you picked — a thoughtful touch haha. I drank wine while my friend enjoyed shisha! It was fun that we could each enjoy what we liked together, a different feel from a regular bar.

Personally, EOD felt less like a place to just grab a drink and more like a spot to enjoy a different kind of atmosphere with a group who wants to try hookah. I'm a non-smoker so I didn't try the hookah myself, but it was nice being able to sit together while my friend enjoyed shisha and I drank wine. From what I could tell, it didn't have the strong smell of regular cigarettes, so it was fine being around it.
