I'm sharing my review of getting an autumn-ready haircut at a hair salon in Songpa. After a whole summer of wondering whether to cut my hair or not, I found myself asking why I hadn't come sooner, haha. It was a cut I really loved. Let me tell you all about this Jamsil-area hair salon.

Hours and parking

Mon–Fri 10:00–19:30 / Sat 10:00–18:30 / Closed Sundays

🚗 Parking: Helio City complex parking lot. Tiered support depending on the service price. There's also a nearby public parking lot.

Getting there from Songpa Station and the exterior

This Songpa hair salon offers support for the complex's basement parking lot. Since the support amount varies depending on the service price, be sure to check with the salon.

Going straight ahead first takes you to the complex's dedicated parking lot. Going right leads to resident-only parking, so keep that in mind. Take the elevator up to the first floor, cross at the crosswalk, and you'll reach Songpa Station. I walked there enjoying the blue sky, like a little stroll.

Since this is also a Jamsil-area hair salon, just walk straight past Exit 4 toward where you can see Lotte Tower.

It takes about 10 minutes on foot. It's located one block in from the main road.

Interior atmosphere

I loved how modern and stylish the interior of this Songpa hair salon was. Working in a place so full of aesthetic sense, I imagine a designer's artistic side would really flourish.

There's a waiting area on the left, styling chairs on the right, and more work spaces further inside.

The interior of this Jamsil-area hair salon is simple and white, with pops of color adding a unique touch.

According to the posted parking info, cut/perm gets 1 hour for ₩1,500, regular perm/color gets 2 hours for ₩4,500, and heat perm gets 3 hours supported. They said they no longer use the Modeun Parking Lot app, so it's best to double-check with staff.

Women's cut ₩28,000: the pregnant-cut process

At this Songpa hair salon, I got a women's cut. Washing and drying long hair all summer had been so exhausting. Being pregnant made the drying time feel even longer 🤣 So I visited hoping for a refreshing cut.

First, the designer and I checked how much of my existing perm was left, and we discussed leaving a little perm in while cutting as much off as possible.

I got a refreshing shampoo that cooled my scalp, skipped the massage since I'm pregnant, and happily sat back down.

The snip-snip sound of the scissors got me excited. And seeing the cut take shape, I was thrilled that it suited me even better than I'd expected.

After the overall cutting, layers were added for volume and the ends were thinned out appropriately.

The finished mid-length result

The finishing touches at this Jamsil-area hair salon began. After blow-drying to preserve my curl as much as possible, they added light waves with a curling iron.

The finished mid-length hair looked quite luxe and suited my face shape really well. It was a satisfying experience 🥰
