Where is Yuklab Gangnam, and what are its hours?
Yuklab Gangnam is a beef and lamb restaurant on the 2nd floor of 28-6 Teheran-ro 1-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, about a 3–4 minute walk from Exit 11 of Gangnam Station. It's open weekdays 16:00–23:00 and weekends 15:00–23:00.
I was craving good beef near Gangnam Station and went looking for a place, which is how I ended up at Yuklab Gangnam! Gangnam Station has so many good restaurants that it's always hard to decide where to eat, but this time I really wanted proper beef, somewhere with decent atmosphere too, so I found this Korean BBQ spot near Gangnam Station.
Yuklab Gangnam is in a great spot for walking from Exit 11 of Gangnam Station. If you're meeting people near Gangnam Station, it's also convenient to head to a café or somewhere else afterward, so it seemed like a solid choice for a friends' meetup or a date spot. There are honestly a ton of BBQ places around Gangnam Station, but Yuklab felt like it had a slightly different vibe from the usual ones.

What is the mood inside Yuklab Gangnam like?
The interior of Yuklab Gangnam was clean and had this soft, calm atmosphere that I really liked. When you think 'BBQ restaurant' you usually picture something loud and casual, but Yuklab felt relatively upscale, which I liked. So it seemed like a good place not just to come with friends for good meat, but also somewhere you could use for a Gangnam Station date.
Yuklab Gangnam menu and what comes in the 2-person set

The set menu composition was pretty good!! I ordered the 2-person Yuklab set~~ It came with jingalbisal (rib finger meat) 120g + tosisal (skirt steak) 120g + lamb chops 230g. Ordering the set is ₩19,900 cheaper than buying everything separately~~ Here's the drinks and beverage menu below.

Turns out wine and whiskey corkage are both available!!
How the 2-person set tastes: jingalbisal, tosisal and lamb chops

Jingalbisal 120g + tosisal 120g + lamb chops 230g came out along with vegetables. Look at how gorgeous that meat looks!!! The portion was generous for two people too~

Once the grill was set and they started cooking the meat for us, that savory smell as it cooked was so good. Beef gets tough if you cook it too long, so they flipped it at just the right timing. Taking a bite of the nicely browned meat, I could taste the juices and the texture was tender — really delicious.

At first I wanted to taste the meat's natural flavor, so I dipped it lightly in salt — and yeah, beef really is great eaten simply like that too. After that I tried it with the sauces and side dishes provided, and eating it that way brought out a totally different flavor, so I got to enjoy several combinations throughout the meal. Different cuts of beef have slightly different textures and flavors, so ordering a few different menu items to share is a good idea. Especially if you're visiting with a group, instead of ordering just one item, I'd recommend going for the value set menu so you can pick and share several kinds together.

The lamb chops were so tender and chewy in the best way — for me, this was the tastiest part~~

The meat was so good I couldn't hold off on a beer!! Quality beef and draft beer,,, seriously a dream combo,.
Finishing with doenjang jjigae and kimchi fried rice

When I pick a BBQ place, I care not just about the meat but also about what else you can eat alongside it. If you just keep eating meat, it can get a bit heavy, so having other dishes to mix in along the way makes the meal so much better. Here's the doenjang jjigae included in the 2-person set and the kimchi fried rice we ordered extra. Having rice or a soup dish after the meat made things much more filling, and I got to wrap up the meal deliciously right to the end.
