Revealing a great spot near Sadang Station for when you want good pizza and craft beer together!! I went to Weizenhaus Bangbae Branch 1, and it was great for a light evening drink, but also worked as a meal-plus-drinks spot since you can enjoy menus like pizza and tacos together 💗

They brew their own craft beer and keep it refrigerated for freshness, which made it even better — if you're looking for a beer spot near Sadang Station, I recommend this one!!

Right out of Exit 11 of Sadang Station and you're there!! Accessibility doesn't get better than this haha (p≧w≦q) Easy to reach by bus from Sadang Station too. Just note there's no dedicated parking!! There's a public parking lot nearby you can use instead haha

Weizenhaus Bangbae Branch 1's hours are 🕰️ Mon-Thu 16:00-01:00, Fri-Sat 16:00-02:00, Sun 16:00-00:00. A pub where you can enjoy craft beer and various snacks in a cozy, warm atmosphere — the best!! Great to visit anytime, from a simple dinner to a second or third round 💞

Group visits are possible too, so it's a good reference point for gatherings with friends or a Sadang work dinner spot~~ It's nice to inquire ahead before visiting haha. For groups, booking in advance through Naver means you can be seated comfortably in a good spot without waiting.

They also have a wide variety of drinks available, so it's perfect for a group to visit, share dishes, and have a drink??!!

Overall it had a relaxed vibe so it was easy to enjoy drinks without any pressure~~ Very satisfying with the spacious layout, and since it's not too formal, it was great for chatting comfortably over good food and beer with friends (❁´◡`❁)

There's really a lot of seating on the 2nd floor too, which was great!!

Seeing the wood-fired oven and the craft beer equipment makes you want to eat right away — I want to go back to Weizenhaus, this Sadang bar with such a pleasant space 😚

Craft beer sampler: golden ale vs pale ale

If you're visiting Weizenhaus, this Sadang Station bar, you can't skip the craft beer, right?? This time I ordered the craft beer sampler so I could compare a bit of several beers~~

I really liked being able to taste a little of many kinds rather than just sticking with one beer (●'◡'●)

Weizenhaus especially serves craft beer brewed and refrigerated at their own factory, so it was fun comparing each one's aroma and flavor!!! Unfiltered, so the yeast is still alive and you get the beer's natural flavor too~~

If you like beer, it's fun to find the style that suits your taste 🍻 I really liked the citrusy golden ale and the pale ale with an aroma-forward taste!!

If you're looking for a Sadang Station bar and want to taste a variety of craft beers, I'd recommend the sampler menu too haha

How was the arugula premium pizza?

Of everything I ordered, the one I was most excited about was the arugula premium pizza~~

A pizza topped with fresh arugula and generous cheese, authentic Italian-style pizza with a glass of beer — just imagining it is already delicious haha

The pizza was piled high with arugula, so it looked delicious too~~

The savory, rich cheese combined with arugula's distinctive fresh scent was such a great combo 😮 The pizza itself didn't feel too heavy, since the arugula added a refreshing touch throughout, making it great to eat alongside beer (✿◡‿◡)

Taking a sip of craft beer then a bite of pizza, the cheese's savoriness and the beer's flavor blended together really well as a drinking snack too~~ If you're looking for a place in Sadang to enjoy pizza and beer together, Weizenhaus is the Sadang Station pizza spot haha

Shrimp tacos: the easiest dish to share

It felt like a waste to order just pizza, so I got the shrimp tacos too~~ The plump shrimp and the distinctive taco flavor went well together with beer!!! A bit lighter and more exotic feeling than the pizza~~

If you're visiting with a group, I'd recommend getting one pizza plus something like tacos to share together 😊
