Yeouido izakaya with night views: mixing Halla-tonic soju at Nani

Today I finally made it to Nani, an izakaya in Yeouido I'd been wanting to try for a while. The location is amazing! Nani Yeouido Branch sits on the 3rd floor of the S-TRENUE building, right in front of Exit 3 of Yeouido Station — a Yeouido Station favorite where you can have a drink while soaking in the night view!!

Nani Yeouido Branch is easy to book through Naver Reservation. I made my reservation there and it was a breeze. These days I really like restaurants that let you book through apps like Naver Reservation or Catch Table haha. Confirmation came back fast too, which was nice.

When evening falls, you just want to have a drink somewhere dim and moody in a Yeouido izakaya... My friend and I fully enjoyed our time at Nani Yeouido today, haha. Nani checked every box for the chill vibe I was craving — a real Yeouido favorite. It'd be great for an evening date with a partner too.

Since Nani Yeouido has floor-to-ceiling windows, you get a view toward the TP Tower side of Yeouido while sipping your drink, which made the atmosphere even better. I used to pass by Exit 3 of Yeouido and think 'I want to go to that 3rd-floor window-view izakaya someday' — and I finally made it!

When I ordered Hallasan soju and tonic water at Nani Yeouido Branch, they thoughtfully brought out an ice basket too. Thanks to that, I could easily mix my own Halla-tonic to drink!!

What we ordered at Nani Yeouido Branch and what it cost

On this visit we ordered the premium lamb shoulder rack for ₩43,000 and the perilla oil octopus pasta for ₩26,000.

1. Perilla oil octopus pasta, 26,000 won

The combination of perilla leaves, perilla oil, and salted octopus was genuinely nutty and satisfying. Since it was dinner and I was hungry, it worked perfectly as a full meal too! Honestly, this ended up being the dish that surprised me most that day — the perilla oil octopus pasta. The nutty, fragrant flavor of the perilla oil went so well with the pasta, and the octopus added a chewy texture that made it feel different from a regular oil pasta. That deep, nutty perilla flavor combined with the octopus's savoriness also went well alongside the lamb. Eating the pasta in between bites of meat felt like it refreshed the palate, so I was glad we'd ordered it together.

The pairing of the perilla oil octopus pasta and the lamb shoulder rack was amazing! They complement each other so well, so I'd definitely recommend ordering them together!

2. Premium lamb shoulder rack, 43,000 won

The lamb had no gamey smell and a clean flavor I really liked. The meat was tender with just the right amount of juiciness, so the usual heaviness of lamb's distinct aroma wasn't overpowering, making it easy to enjoy.

It came out sizzling on a hot plate, so it stayed hot for a long time without cooling down. It also cut easily with scissors, making it comfortable to eat — the lamb shoulder rack at izakaya Nani in Yeouido!

The combination was so delicious that my friend and I lost track of time and ate until we were full!

Is Nani Yeouido Branch worth a visit?

Overall, the food at Nani Yeouido Branch was solid, but what I liked most was the private atmosphere and the friendly service. The interior felt clean and upscale, which made the whole meal feel good. I especially liked having a private space to eat in, and the staff were friendly and attentive, so I could relax throughout the meal.

If you're near Yeouido Station looking for a calmer, better-atmosphere spot rather than somewhere loud and busy, this place is worth a visit.
