Walking in, I was greeted by a modern, clean white-toned interior! From the tidy cabinet area to the treatment space and shampoo room, everything was clean and spacious — a really pleasant atmosphere to get a treatment done ✨

Re-Born Repair Clinic vs Shiseido Salon Solution: what's the difference?

After sitting down and filling out a quick customer chart, my designer Hyunjun came over and carefully checked my current hair condition, giving me a 1:1 consultation! They even brought out a cool welcome tea — total healing... 🍵

Turns out Park Jun Beauty Lab Gangnam Branch has two main types of clinics! He kindly explained the difference too 💡

• Ribbon Repair Clinic: highly concentrated keratin applied and heat-set — recommended for extremely damaged, melted/burnt hair from bleaching or heat perms, or for calming down curly texture.
• Shiseido Salon Solution: detoxes metal residue from inside the hair plus multi-step moisture/protein layering — recommended when you want curl and volume revived without heaviness, staying moist and soft.

Since my hair was very dry and frizzy from continuous dyeing, I decided to go with the 'Shiseido Salon Solution,' which restores moisture and nutrients without weighing hair down!

Once I sat down at my assigned seat, they gave me coffee and snacks with a cute handwritten note ☕️🍪 😽

The Shiseido clinic isn't just about applying nutrients — its whole point is going through stages one by one, from detox to nutrient injection to micro-coating!

He showed me the Shiseido clinic step chart and explained each stage of the care my hair would go through, in easy terms! Rather than just sitting there passively, knowing exactly 'what nutrients are going into my hair right now' made me trust the process a lot more 🥹

1. Surface peeling and deep detox (steps 0–1)

First, I moved to the shampoo room where deep detox with products 0 and 1 began! Product 0 cleared surface impurities, while product 1 removed metal residue buildup inside the hair that regular shampoo can't wash out — clearing the hair out so the concentrated nutrients coming later can absorb well 🧼 🫧

2. Texture change and reforming care

Back at my seat, two types of product 2 were mixed and applied all over my hair — this step straightens out the crumpled, distorted hair structure from damage, and softens the rough texture. Maybe it's just me, but it already looked softer... 😳

Since it was a clinic, there was a long wait time with the product sitting on my hair, but all the staff seemed to get along really well, so the mood was bright and comfortable haha

3. Repair ingredients and a water-repellent base

Next, core repair proteins are injected deep into the damaged hair strands! This forms a solid moisture-protective barrier inside the hair so the nutrients don't easily escape — apparently the key care step 💧

4. Triple-layer micro-coating

Back to the shampoo room, a thick mask was applied all over my hair and I lay there for 10-15 minutes! This coats the hair surface to lock in the nutrients so the smooth, swishy feel lasts longer — the finishing step. They covered me with a blanket and eye mask while I lay there, and it was so comfortable I actually fell into a deep sleep... 😴lol

Lastly, before blow-drying, a treatment and essence that protect hair from external stressors like heat and UV were applied all over — and that completes the Shiseido clinic ✨

For the finish, they put in a pretty S-curl with an iron!

Whoa!!! Maybe because the hair itself was so moist and bouncy now, the curls came out so much bouncier and prettier too 🥹

Right after the clinic I went straight to meet someone and took a million photos lol 📸 My hair genuinely looked like a different person's — even random snapshots came out looking gorgeous and luxe thanks to the hair, super satisfied... 🥹

How did the hair look the next day with no styling?

✨ And here's the most amazing part — the next day!! I just washed my hair and did nothing else, and the bounciness was insane, seriously ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ 🥹🤍

No matter how many clinics I'd tried before, I never felt such a dramatic effect — my hair was so smooth and soft all day I wanted to keep petting it... They said it's good to get this every 2-3 months, and I'm definitely going back! He paid attention to every little detail and was so kind that I could relax through the whole process 🤍
