For someone like me who'd only ever gotten clean, sleek straightening... this was my first hippie perm, so I asked all sorts of questions! And she answered so kindly and thoroughly! They gave me a welcome tea too! It was warm and lovely. All the tiredness from work seemed to melt away already.

How the ribbon repair perm and protein care worked

Since my perm is specifically the ribbon repair perm, they said it uses a variety of repair perm materials, exactly as listed there!

They said this clinic shampoo was used! Surprisingly, instead of just squeezing it on directly, they used a tool to work it into a foam first.

So let's sip some honey green tea while my hair's being done! The menu had iced and hot Americano, honey green tea, iced tea, and more!

Isn't this just too cute?? They said each one is hand-written! And my name was written on it too, so sweet..♥️♥️

And then they pour a generous amount of protein into the perm solution! You can really tell they're focused on protein and repair, since it's a repair perm!

Hahaha, I don't think you're curious about the whole process... but while applying the solution and testing it, she was so meticulous — using a weaker formula on the more damaged sections, and clearly paying close personal attention!

The finished hippie perm and how to dry it at home

All done!! The hippie perm turned out so good, right??? No words needed~ The bounce holds up really well! She also taught me how to dry my hair and how to shape the curls I wanted! Isn't that amazing? She explained it so simply, and when I tried it at home, it actually worked!!! I'll keep up the bouncy curls♥️

Wait, but this is genuinely unbelievable... Park Jun Beauty Lab has a photo booth inside!

There are even props and sample photos!ㅠㅜㅜ Isn't that amazing?! I always go get photo booth strips after getting my hair done anyway, so having this perk right here... and the lighting is seriously good... it's a total photo spot... and you can even get a video via QR code, that's insane. I got a hippie perm, and if anyone's great at hippie perms, it's designer Yeoreum!
