My hair hasn't been sitting right with me lately. I want to keep the length, but the ends are dry and frizzy, and overall it just feels like it's lost its shine 🥲

So this time I decided to properly take care of the hair itself! Chasing my dream 'seaweed hair' look ♡ haha, so I went to Heeol Hair Gangnam Flagship Store, a Gangnam Station hair salon. This time I got designer Subin's Hair Care B course ✨ The vibe of the shop was exactly my style too, so I was happy the moment I walked in!!!

Where is Heeol Hair Gangnam Flagship Store? 5 minutes from Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 6

It's located on the 3rd floor of 37 Bongeunsa-ro 4-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. About a 5-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 6, and about 7 minutes from Gangnam Station Exit 11 — pretty accessible!!

When I visited, I walked in through the alley near Gangnam CGV, and since it's on the 3rd floor of the building, it was easier to find than I expected.

The wood-tone interior of Heeol Hair Gangnam 🏡

Honestly, interior atmosphere matters quite a bit to me when choosing a hair salon. Maybe because I lived in Europe for 10 years, I prefer a calm mix of natural wood, beige and white over anything flashy and glitzy — and Heeol Hair had exactly that feel.

Wood furniture placed throughout a white-toned space, with natural light coming in through big windows for an overall warm, comfortable atmosphere.

It even had a bit of the feel of a small European salon, so I personally loved the space itself 🤎

How the Hair Care B course works, step by step

Heeol Hair Gangnam's Hair Care B course is a program focused on intensively caring for dry, damaged hair! From the explanation, it goes step by step from the surface of the hair all the way to inner moisture and protein care.

01. Starting with the shampoo 🧴

First, I moved to the shampoo room where they cleanse the hair and scalp thoroughly. I thought a clinic just meant applying products, but starting off with a shampoo to prep the hair's condition made me feel ready for the real care to begin.

02. Moisture care with steam ♨️

After the shampoo, they do moisture care on the hair and let it fully absorb with steam. She explained that Hair Care B uses triple hyaluronic acid to lock in both surface and inner moisture. This was the step that made me realize — of course dry, frizzy hair needs moisture most. Sitting under the steam was warm and oddly relaxing ☺️ (my sleepy face was a killer moment lol).

03. Protein care 🧬

After one rinse, the real protein care began! Since parts of my hair were frizzy and rough from damage, designer Subin carefully applied the product all over. Hair Care B is said to replenish keratin and protein in damaged hair and also balance the pH.

04. One more round of steam 💧

After the protein care, they steam it again and let it wait to fully absorb into the hair. This was surprisingly a healing moment 😂 Usually at a hair salon I'm just getting a perm or dye, so sitting quietly through this kind of focused hair care was actually really nice.

05. Final shampoo and finishing 🫧

After enough care, I moved back to the shampoo room! They rinsed out all the remaining product from my hair and finished with a blow-dry. I also added a bangs cut.

My hair swished down so smoothly it reminded me of seaweed, and I couldn't stop laughing at myself 😂 Especially when I touched it, my hair felt noticeably softer and overall more settled, which was really satisfying. A woman's lifeline is her hair condition ♡♡♡

Drink service and seat amenities at Heeol Hair Gangnam

They brought a drink partway through the treatment — I chose iced chocolate 🤎 Little touches like this make you feel good.

Also, every seat has a phone charging cable and outlet, plus free Wi-Fi, which was especially convenient during a clinic treatment that takes a bit longer.

The salon itself has a well-arranged waiting area, and the basics are well covered too — Wi-Fi, separate restrooms for men and women, parking support, and pet-friendly policy.

Designer Subin explained everything about my hair's condition, from the initial consultation through the whole treatment, and was so friendly overall that I felt completely comfortable.

She also gave me her business card — designer Subin at Heeol Hair is off on Mondays and Tuesdays, good to keep in mind when booking!

Having lived in Europe for 10 years, I've experienced hair salons in several different countries, but I think the meticulous care at Korean hair salons still has its own special charm ♡

What I'll remember most about Heeol Hair this time is the calm wood-tone interior, friendly service, and thorough hair care. If your hair feels frizzy or damaged and you want to give it a proper reset, I think trying a clinic like this is worth it.

I especially loved how designer Subin explained the process step by step and was just so incredibly kind throughout 🫶🏻 If you're looking for a Gangnam Station hair salon / Sinnonhyeon Station hair salon / Gangnam hair clinic, this place is worth considering! My hair got prettier and the space was pretty too — it made for a great hair day after a long while 🤎
