After getting pregnant, I went without coloring my hair for a while, and it became patchy and pretty unattractive—my hair slump hit me hard,, So as soon as I reached 20 weeks of pregnancy, I went and properly got a fall hair makeover with a toned-down color + layered cut~!

Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo Branch (준오헤어 천호로데오점), a hair salon near Cheonho Station, is on Cheonho Rodeo Street, just a five-minute walk away. I went on foot, and it was super easy to get to.

The entire first and second floors were used as the salon. Juno Hair is a salon I trust with my hair because the service and skills are always good wherever I go. I booked a pregnancy all-over color + cut in advance and visited.

The moment I walked in, Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo Branch felt bright and sunlit. It had a café-like atmosphere and no chemical smell, so it felt pleasant and safe~

Since getting pregnant, I hadn't been able to color or perm my hair, so I had only been getting trims.. But as the color faded, it got messy and I couldn't deal with it latelyㅠㅠㅠ My hair slump was in full swing.
It was patchy, my roots had grown out, and I even had gray hairs here and there—basically a hopeless situation..

How did the pregnancy-friendly toned-down color go?
Before visiting the salon, I looked up fall hairstyles, and so many people recommended a toned-down color for fall. After consulting with the senior director, I decided on an all-over, red-free dark brown toned-down color, then a layered cut to bring some lightness back to my heavy hair.

At 20 weeks pregnant, I was honestly a little cautious about coloring my hair. They applied a hair protectant first, and when I asked them to keep the color as far from my roots as possible, they did the all-over color with a gap from the roots, so I could relax and get my color during pregnancy haha.

They also prepared nuts, cookies, and drinks so I wouldn't get snacky while my hair was being done.

The coloring took about an hour in total. Afterwards, I moved to the shampoo room, where they shampooed my hair carefully without any discomfort and even gave me acupressure massage—it felt so refreshing.

After the shampoo, I returned to my seat for the layered cut, and the senior director was definitely on another level~ They immediately spotted where my hair was heavy, thinned it out a little more, and added layers, creating a hairstyle that looked even more polished than before.

These are photos taken right after my fall hairstyle makeover: pregnancy all-over color + layered cut. As you can see compared with the earlier photos, my hair looked so much more polished and hip—I felt about five years younger~

My patchy, yellow-toned hair was completely covered in a calm dark brown. They explained that because it wasn't dyed fully black, the color may fade a little over time. It is a natural dark brown rather than black,,

Everything looked neat, and it was such a proper mood boost for this pregnant woman,, If Mom is happy, baby will be happy too haha. They also explained additional care tips and recommended future services, so I was completely satisfied!

I recommend Juno Hair Cheonho Rodeo Branch if you're looking for a hair salon near Cheonho Station. I'm sure you'll leave with hair you're happy with. Everyone was kind—highly, highly recommended!!!!!

I was so happy after getting my hair done that I even took a selfie for the first time in ages. This was my honest pregnancy review of the toned-down color + layered cut I recommend for a fall hairstyle : D
