Yuwolae Mijangwon Suwon Gwanggyo Branch (유월애미장원) is near Gwanggyo Galleria! It is on the eighth floor of SK View Lake Tower. The building next door can be a little confusing, so make sure to check the building name carefully!! ⭐️

As soon as I got off the elevator, Yuwolae Mijangwon was right on the right. It was not hard to find, haha.

Oh my gosh, there was this cute little thing as soon as I walked in…?? Spot the hidden cutie... It is not a stuffed animal—it is a dog. It looks like a plushie, but it is a dog.. 🥹🥹🤍🤍 (Do I need to go back just to see this one..)

A clean, hip interior with plenty of seats

The interior was clean but also kind of hip..?! The name means “beauty salon,” but even the name itself feels hip~.~ I looked so hard into hair salons in Suwon and Gwanggyo, and I had a good feeling from the very first impression.

This is the waiting area, and it was clean and comfortable too!

Mongnyong..? Why are you so cute? Are you a stuffed animal????? And this little one is so sweet and gentle. Just stays still when you pet them..ㅠ.ㅠ I heard this is the owner’s dog. The owner is so lucky..

Before root color: grays and red undertones were bothering me

I had a bit of a smile on my face from petting the dog before coming over. Hehe.

I have the typical dyed hair... an unattractive hair color covered in red undertones. On top of that, I have had gray hairs since I was young because of genetics..^^ It had reached the point where I simply could not not get my roots colored..

It feels like I have even more gray hairs now ㅠ.ㅠ So sad..

They told me the dye was SHISEIDO PROFESSIONAL’s PRIMIENCE. Apparently, it develops cleanly, creates pretty brown, beige, and ash tones, and tends to leave relatively good shine after coloring.

Careful, speedy work from Designer Lara

I had my color service done by Designer Lara. She is pretty too, and she made my root color look absolutely perfect.

Her hands were so quick, and she was swiftly transforming my messy hair into something neat. 🤍🤍

She worked so carefully that I was very satisfied.

You wait around 20–30 minutes looking this unglamorous! Why did the wait not feel boring?? Because of this little one, of course.. At some point, they came over beside me and basically made me pet them automatically..

I made this little one’s hair look like this.. Puhaha..

The little one left when I stopped petting them.. So cute.. While I was playing like this, 30 minutes flew by and it was time to wash my hair!

A refreshing shampoo and hair-pack treatment

Yuwolae Mijangwon also sells a variety of hair products.

This product is NSYNERGY153 Care Shampoo. They said it is designed to care for both the scalp and hair, cleansing while gently caring for damaged strands! It is said to smooth hair left rough after coloring or other treatments while keeping the scalp refreshed too. Maybe that is why my hair felt so refreshed and my scalp felt thoroughly cleansed??

They gave my hair a wonderfully refreshing wash and did a hair pack too. I loved that even my scalp felt cool and refreshed.

They only dried my hair, but it already looked calmer and the color felt settled!!!!! I loved it so much!!!

A brown tone with red undertones smoothed out after root color

Why does it feel like even the overall red undertones were corrected when I only colored my roots???? Hehe.. I love it.. I have had root color done in so many places every two months, or every month, and it always came out red; sometimes it became lighter, and other times darker and patchy. But today, it just felt exactly right!

BEFORE -> AFTER. The red undertones faded a little, and it had much more of a brown feel, so I was satisfied. I am even considering getting my full wedding-day color done here > <

Next time, I am going to try a cut or another service at Yuwolae Mijangwon too.
