Gwanak burger restaurant for juicy double cheeseburgers: Daily Fix

Lately, I’d been craving a seriously juicy handmade burger. That’s how I ended up visiting Daily Fix Seoul National University Entrance! The juicy patties, buttery brioche buns, and generous cheese and bacon were honestly moving—it’s somewhere I’d absolutely recommend for a solo meal or a date.

Finding Daily Fix from Seoul National University Entrance Station

Just walk straight ahead from Exit 2 of Seoul National University Entrance Station and you’ll spot it right away. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat alone around the station, the location is perfect, right?

Doesn’t the exterior already have such an international feel? I really love this kind of atmosphere, haha.

Inside the restaurant, with window seats too

There were comfortable seats inside, as well as seats by the window. The window seats had a lovely mood and were absolutely ideal for eating alone, too.

Daily Fix burgers and side dishes

They have many kinds of burgers and French fries: Double Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Pastrami Sandwich, Classic, Hawaiian BBQ, and Truffle Mushroom. There was even a chicken burger loaded with a huge piece of chicken!

There were so many fries, too: 18 mm fries (thick-cut fries), chili cheese fries, bacon cheese fries, fried eggplant, and more.

They also had onion fries, coleslaw, corn salad, chicken, wings, and more. With such a varied side selection, they seemed like they’d go wonderfully with the burgers. Sides felt less like an option and more like a must!

Ordering the double cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger

Our order arrived. We got the Double Cheeseburger with two patties, the Bacon Cheeseburger with its overwhelmingly thick bacon, and enormous onion fries. Since drink refills are available, one drink was enough for two people~!

How the two-patty double cheeseburger tasted

This Double Cheeseburger gave me such a shock. I used to work part-time at KFC and Burger King, so my standards for burgers are pretty high. I’ve always gone around Seoul looking for great burger places with juicy handmade burgers, and Daily Fix’s Double Cheeseburger was already complete perfection just from the visuals, haha.

Maybe because it had two patties, the meat flavor was definitely fuller, and the harmony of the buttery bun, cheese sauce, and patties was fantastic. The rich patties wrapped in soft cheese left me thinking only, “This is so good... really so good...” I was so sad with every bite that disappeared.

The bacon cheeseburger with thick bacon

This is the Bacon Cheeseburger. It has one patty, but it also comes with two thick slices of bacon substantial enough to rival a patty. When you order a bacon burger at a typical fast-food place, you usually get bacon that is shriveled, hard, and thin, right? Here, the bacon made its presence very clear, and I had to admit: ah, this is what a bacon burger should be.

The Bacon Cheeseburger also paired so well with the fluffy, buttery burger bun. All the way through, the buttery richness and the salty savoriness of the bacon worked beautifully together.

Look at that cross-section. It’s packed so generously with ingredients, haha. And that bacon was so thick—ohhh!

Crispy, spicy-salty onion fries

These are onion fries, which I absolutely love. They were sprinkled with paprika seasoning, making them a little spicy and salty, while the coating was so crisp and delicious. They were incredibly crunchy, and the onion fries actually cut through the burger’s richness, haha. The spicy sauce served alongside them went so well with the fries that I dipped every last drop with all my might, haha.

No exaggeration: Daily Fix was so delicious that it earned a place among the best burgers of my life. It was a day that made me emotional, realizing that Korea can make burgers this full of juice. Daily Fix is also such a great place for a date, so I really, really recommend it.
