Hongdae nail salon pink cubic gel art in 40 minutes: Byuazeu

My nails have been so plain lately that I finally went and got them redone. This time I went to Byuazeu in Hongdae! I was scrolling through their Monthly Art designs and found one that looked clean but still had a nice point to it, so I picked that — and spoiler: it came out totally my style…💅🏻

What I got specifically was the 5.9 Monthly Art, where I kept the original design but changed just the color to whatever I wanted.

Where to find Byuazeu in Hongdae

Byuazeu is located at 19 Hongikro 2-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, 1st floor. It's a good spot if you have plans in Hongdae and want to get your nails done before grabbing a meal or heading to a café. I booked a reservation ahead of time and looked at the Monthly Art designs beforehand, so I didn't spend much time choosing once I got there.

You can also get a lash lift here alongside your nails!

There's a waiting area and a drinks fridge too

When you walk in there's a separate waiting area, so even if you arrive early it doesn't feel awkward haha. Personally, what I liked was that the shop has its own drinks fridge! I could just grab one easily and had a drink while getting my nails done — little things like that are surprisingly nice.

40 minutes from care to finished art

This is what surprised me the most haha. From when care started to when the art was finished took only about 40 minutes🫪🫪 Usually when I get my nails done I brace myself for a long sit, but here the hands were so fast it felt like it flew by.

But even so, when I saw the finished result, the shaping and cubic detailing didn't feel rushed at all — it came out exactly as clean as I wanted, so I was satisfied! If you get frustrated by long salon visits, this is a huge plus. When it was done I checked the time and thought, wait, already?? haha

If you're looking for gel nails in Hongdae

Having tried it myself, based on the 5.9 Monthly Art I chose, I liked the design and loved that the color change was free. Most of all, it was great that the whole process from care to art only took about 40 minutes.

It finishes fast but the result is clean, so if you're looking for good-value nails in Hongdae or mainly browsing Monthly Art designs, it might be worth checking their designs out🥹🩵

I'd be happy to go back next time a Monthly Art design I like comes up :) Especially if you're into clean pink colors with a little cubic point like me, this nail set is totally my style💗
