Like Like, a 3-minute walk from Juyeop Children's Library
Like Like is a brunch spot just a 3-minute walk from Juyeop Station and Juyeop Children's Library. My second kid had been eating mostly Korean food for a few days, easy on the stomach. When she said the thing she wanted most was a sandwich, we stopped by on our way to the library.
When I asked her where she'd most want to go while she was in the hospital, she said 'the library' without hesitation. For a kid who finds comfort in stories, the library is a safe place.
In the books she loves, there's a friend who feels just like her, a treasure box she'd want to hide deep in her own room, and she can flip a page and arrive anywhere she wants.
Finally free of a stuffy place, she heads toward her own little hideout. We hadn't been to Juyeop Children's Library since its renovation, so today we went there.

Before I could even check, she said it herself: 'Mom, this is it, right? Like Like!'

Under the crisp autumn sunlight, the storefront looked cozy.

Like Like hours and parking in Juyeop
Open Mon and Sun from 8:30am to 6pm. Open Tue–Sat from 8:30am to 10pm.
With no closed days and an early opening time, it's a brunch spot you can drop by without worrying about timing.
Parking is plentiful in the same building too — free for up to 2 hours on weekdays and 1.5 hours on weekends.

Can you bring a dog? Terrace seats and the meong brunch
Like Like allows dogs, and it's such a dog-friendly Ilsan café that it even has a separate menu just for pets. A 'meong brunch' (meong being the sound Korean dogs 'bark') — if you have a dog, this is a visual you'll want to bring them to see for yourself.

The outdoor terrace seats catch the sun nicely too, which drew my eye.

Dog owners could relax with their pups out on the terrace seats. Of course, indoor seating is available too — it's a genuinely dog-friendly place.

What's on the Like Like menu
The menu board. True to a brunch café, there's a wide range — paninis, sandwiches, poke, salads, soups, French toast and more. There are café drinks too, so you can just come for a beverage.

'Meong brunch' for dogs. It looks so cute I'd genuinely like to see it in person. There are lots of toast options too, good to pair with coffee when you want something simple. A good lineup for feeding your kid a light snack at an awkward meal time.
Three kinds of cookies are on offer too.

Paninis and salad sandwiches are also available for delivery and group orders.

Also worth checking: the receipt photo review event.

Inside Like Like: atmosphere and seating with a child
Calm, low lighting made for a cozy mood. You can still see the sunny outdoors, so it feels like being tucked inside your own hideout.
Lap blankets are provided too.

My second kid greeted a giant teddy bear plush. 'Do you like sandwiches too?' haha

What comes with the signature brunch
Like Like's signature brunch. A hearty spread with French toast, sausage, omelet, bacon, and salad.
Since there's sausage, they also brought out pickles, ketchup and mustard on the side.
Fluffy, soft, sweet French toast.
A soft omelet like a pale-yellow cloud.
Bacon grilled crisp but clean, without excess grease.

A salad drizzled with balsamic sauce, fresh rather than sweet.

A brunch generous enough and clean enough that both adults and kids can enjoy it.
The club sandwich our child had been craving
The sandwich she'd wanted so badly. We ordered her usual favorite, the club sandwich. With fresh arugula and tomato inside, it was a refreshing sandwich.
The sandwich bread was grilled crisp.
Egg was in there too, making for a filling brunch.
Arugula, tomato, lettuce, ham, cheese, egg, pickle — a well-balanced sandwich.

She ate it so well.
She crunched through the arugula and onion happily too.

'So delicious!' she raved.

The soft, cloudlike omelet.

Sausage, bacon, French toast and all — our little chestnut finished about 1.5 servings by herself.

Sunlight that felt like spring, summer, and autumn light all rolled together before the cold winds arrive. A natural winter preparation, quietly warming every corner of the body without even trying.
We spent a luxurious midday of a beautiful, ripening season together with a healthy, refreshing brunch.
