In short

Pizza Slice Seoul is a slice pizza restaurant in Seongdong, Seoul, on basement level 1 at 159 Achasan-ro, a 9-minute walk from Exit 2 of Seongsu Station. Visiting alone, the writer was seated with no wait and ordered the Today's Slice pizza with a Dr Pepper Zero — a thin, chewy crust piled with cheese and toppings that few people would dislike. The disposable plastic knife barely cut through, but the quiet room makes Pizza Slice Seoul an easy stop for a meal alone or a light bite with a friend.

How the Today's Slice pizza and Dr Pepper Zero tasted

The Today's Slice pizza and Dr Pepper Zero I ordered arrived at the table. The plate is a very lightweight disposable paper plate. The crust was chewy and light, so my hand kept reaching for more. It had an inoffensive flavor that would work for pretty much anyone, and the Dr Pepper Zero had a slightly unusual taste that paired well with the pizza. Bottles of spices sat lined up next to it so I could sprinkle to taste.

Slice of pizza placed on parchment paper
Pizza cut with a disposable fork and plastic knife

The disposable plastic knife barely cut the pizza

I picked up the fork and knife to cut the pizza into pieces. It looked neat sitting on the logo-stamped parchment paper. The fork and knife were disposable, and since the knife was plastic, the pizza didn't cut very well. The slice was large enough that it was fine after 2 or 3 cuts.

Ketchup and Tabasco sauce on the table

Table spices at Pizza Slice Seoul: season your slice your way

Next to the table, ketchup, Tabasco sauce, oregano, garlic powder and red pepper flakes were set out. It was fun adding sauce according to my taste. If you prefer things really spicy, you could sprinkle on plenty of the pepper flakes.

Cross-section of a thin-crust pizza showing cheese and toppings

Looking at the cross-section of the pizza, it was loaded with cheese and toppings. Since it's basically a thin-crust pizza, it was easy to eat without feeling heavy. The savory flavor that spread through my mouth was excellent too.

Is Pizza Slice Seoul worth a solo visit?

The harmony of the pepperoni-topped crust and tomato sauce was excellent. If you're really hungry, two slices of pizza would probably do the trick, and overall it was a quiet restaurant good for visiting alone or with a friend. I finished a relaxed meal all by myself.
