Myeongdong burger restaurant right at 11am opening: Daily Fix Euljiro
In short
Daily Fix Euljiro is a handmade burger restaurant with a New York diner feel on the first floor of the Fastfive Euljiro building, behind Hana Bank at Exits 1 and 2 of Euljiro 1-ga Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. Arriving right at the 11am opening, the writer ordered the truffle mushroom burger and French fries, while the milkshake was sold out and had to wait for another visit. The restaurant is full by 11:30am, so going to Daily Fix Euljiro a little early makes the meal far more comfortable.

For lunch today I went to Daily Fix Euljiro, a place I stop by fairly often, for a burger!
Coming out of Exits 1 and 2 of Euljiro 1-ga Station, behind the building where Hana Bank sits, you'll find 'Daily Fix Euljiro,' a handmade burger specialist with the feel of a New York-style diner.

What Daily Fix Euljiro looks like inside
Daily Fix Euljiro feels hip yet classic right from the entrance. Step inside and you're greeted by an open layout and stylish lighting,

During the day, sunlight pours in for a warm, relaxed feel, and in the evening the mood shifts to something perfect for enjoying a burger with a cold beer.

Is there a wait at the 11am opening?
I visited right around 11am, when Daily Fix Euljiro opens. Maybe because it was so early, the place was quiet and relaxed, and I could sit wherever I liked and settle in for lunch. The Euljiro area always gets packed at lunchtime. If you head out just a little early, you can eat in peace — by 11:20am, the popular spots already start having a wait.

The moment lunch hour properly kicked off past 11:30, office workers pouring out of the nearby buildings and visitors hunting down the popular spot quickly filled the large restaurant until there wasn't an empty seat left. If I'd come just a little later, I would've had to wait — I could really feel that this is a burger hotspot that's the talk of the Euljiro area these days.

What we ordered: truffle mushroom burger and French fries
What I chose that day was the truffle mushroom burger, one of this place's signature items, along with French fries. I'd been looking forward to pairing the handmade burger with a sweet, nutty milkshake, but unfortunately the milkshake was sold out that day, so that pairing will have to wait for next time.

The moment the truffle mushroom burger landed on the table, a rich truffle scent hit me. I love truffle so much I keep truffle oil at home too 😀 Highly recommend this one! The bun wrapping the burger had a moist, glossy sheen on the surface, making it look incredibly appetizing too.

Are the French fries still crispy at the end?
The French fries that came alongside were every bit as good as the burger. Fresh out of the fryer and still steaming, they made an audible 'crunch' on the very first bite — crispy outside, moist and hot inside. Sometimes fast food fries end up soggy or greasy because the batter is soaked in oil, but Daily Fix's fries had the excess oil drained off cleanly, so they stayed hot and nutty without going soft until the meal was over. They weren't greasy, so I kept reaching for more without ever getting tired of them.

Hanwoo beef patty and bun texture at Daily Fix Euljiro
The first thing I noticed on the first bite was the soft, nutty texture of the bun. Rather than being dry, the pillowy bun gave the whole burger a solid, satisfying base of flavor. Apparently Daily Fix makes its patties fresh every morning with 100% Hanwoo beef (Korean native beef), using know-how from chefs who trained at New York's three-Michelin-star Per Se and two-star Momofuku Ko — and true to that reputation, the quality of the patty really stood out.

The rich, nutty flavor unique to Hanwoo beef blended with the deep truffle sauce and the texture of the mushrooms, and it felt less like fast food and more like eating a proper dish!
Location, parking, solo dining and bringing a dog
Daily Fix Euljiro is located on the 1st floor of the Fastfive Euljiro building, making it very convenient to get to. It's within a 10-minute walk from major Seoul spots like Euljiro 1-ga Station, Jonggak Station, and Cheonggyecheon, so it works great as a date spot or a lunch destination too.

If you're driving, using the underground parking lot gets you 30 minutes free parking with a store visit, and it's ₩3,000 per 30 minutes after that, so keep that in mind. The atmosphere is also well set up for solo diners who want a quiet meal alone, and dogs are welcome for dining if you use a carrier!
Is Daily Fix Euljiro worth a Myeongdong burger lunch?
With its rich, luxurious truffle aroma, a burger packed with juicy 100% Hanwoo beef, and French fries that stayed crispy fresh from the fryer right to the end, it was a meal that satisfied both in taste and atmosphere. If you're looking for a proper handmade burger spot near Euljiro, definitely stop by Daily Fix Euljiro!
