Eunpyeong Korean BBQ dinner with a riverside walk: Yukjjip
In short
Yukjjip is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Eunpyeong, Seoul, two minutes from Eungam Station and beside Bulgwangcheon Stream. Three people shared the 600 g platter, doenjang-jjigae, rice, and extra grilled vegetables. Verdict: a satisfying dinner followed by a streamside walk.

A Korean BBQ restaurant by Bulgwangcheon Stream near Eungam Station
It is close to Eungam Station and right in front of Bulgwangcheon Stream, so it is great for a stroll along the stream after Korean BBQ!
Yukjjip Eungam Branch is on the first and second floors at 558 Bulgwangcheon-gil, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, about a two-minute walk from Exit 4 of Eungam Station. It is really close to the station, so access is easy, and it is perfect for heading straight to a Bulgwangcheon Stream walk after your meal~~
Sunday hours are 12:00–23:00, with last orders at 22:30; Monday through Saturday, they are 12:00–24:00, with last orders at 23:30. Sunday hours are a little different, so keep that in mind before visiting~~
You will need to use a nearby public parking lot, so I recommend walking or taking public transit if possible. The restrooms are inside and separated by gender. Reservations, corkage, and group visits are possible; there are high chairs, and kids' meals are free for children aged 7 and under. The restrooms are nice and clean too~~

Events to check before visiting
There are lots of events on right now!! If you visit Monday through Thursday before 18:00, you can get a Naver Place coupon for handmade sausage or doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew).
Super important!! From July 1 through October 31, soju is ₩1,000 and bottled beer is ₩2,000. Soju for only ₩1,000...! I cannot drink, so I did not order any, but every table around us had alcohol!! If you love soju or beer, visit while the event is on~~!

It is a clean, two-story Korean BBQ restaurant!

If there is a wait out front, you can register at the table by the entrance.

A spacious two-story dining room and Friday evening wait
The interior was so~~~ clean too. It has two floors and is spacious overall, with generous space between tables, which was nice.

We were not squeezed too close to the next table, so it was comfortable to eat and chat with friends.

I recommend it for company dinners or group gatherings too. There were families, plenty of friend groups, and lots of people on dates~~
We visited around 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Nearly every table was full because it was Friday evening, but luckily we got in immediately with no wait. When we left around 7 after eating, there were five groups waiting~~

For three people, we ordered the 600 g platter, two bowls of rice, doenjang-jjigae, and grilled vegetables.

The 600 g platter comes with whole pork belly, Yukjjip's signature pork neck, and gabrisal.

The platter comes with mushrooms, eggplant, and garlic scapes too, but the grilled vegetables were so good that we ordered extra~~ The portion was really generous for three people, and we were incredibly full.
How the whole pork belly, pork neck, and gabrisal tasted
Whole pork belly

The whole pork belly had a high lean-meat ratio, so it was not overly greasy and was nice and light to eat! It is good wrapped in lettuce with pork belly and seasoned scallion salad, so good,,,

Signature pork neck

Personally, the pork neck was sooo delicious ㅠㅠ It was full of juices, and the staff grilled it so well that it was tender rather than dry. That clean, distinctive pork-neck flavor with all the juices was re~~~ally delicious!

Gabrisal

The gabrisal was nutty and melted in the mouth ㅠㅠ It has a texture different from pork belly or pork neck, so I am glad we ordered the platter haha. Wrapped in lettuce with the meat and grilled vegetables, it was so~~~ delicious!

Extra grilled vegetables and banchan

The 600 g platter comes with mushrooms, eggplant, and garlic scapes, and they were so delicious that we ordered more!

Grill the mushrooms, eggplant, garlic scapes, and meat together, then wrap them in lettuce—it is seriously delicious.
The banchan (Korean side dishes) come out neatly too~~ There is lettuce, chili peppers, green-onion kimchi, white kimchi, seasoned scallions, garlic, ssamjang, salt, and myeong-i namul (pickled wild garlic leaves), and every single one is clean-tasting and delicious!

It is not a self-serve bar; just ask a staff member and they will bring any extra side dishes you need~~

Doenjang-jjigae

We ordered the doenjang-jjigae too. It has quite a lot of ingredients and goes well with the meat!
Recommended for an Eungam Station dinner
A two-minute walk from Exit 4 of Eungam Station—great access; right by Bulgwangcheon Stream, so it is lovely for a post-meal walk; clean and spacious with wide table spacing, making conversation easy! I recommend it for group gatherings or company dinners, and the staff grill the meat deliciously all the way through.
They say it is aged pork from Jirisan. From the meat quality to the side dishes, satisfaction was 100%%. My friends all said it was delicious and suggested coming again, so I will definitely return next time! If you are looking for a delicious Korean BBQ restaurant near Eungam Station, I recommend Yukjjip Eungam Branch. A meal followed by a walk along Bulgwangcheon Stream right outside would make the perfect dinner course too 🌿
