Hi everyone~~~ It's been a while since I brought you a burger place, so today Marjorica is back with one. Let me introduce Daily Fix Seoul National University Entrance, a handmade burger spot in Sharosu-gil that's great for solo dining and also a go-to for blind dates near Sillim Station.

Location and seating at Daily Fix Seoul National University Entrance
It's a 1-minute walk from Exit 2 of Sillim Station, right there on the ground floor, so it's easy to find. That also makes it super convenient for anyone dining solo in Sharosu-gil to just pop in on their way past.
There's a separate bar table for solo diners, plus pretty yellow seats that are nice for a first blind date or a casual date.
Apparently Daily Fix is run by chefs with experience at New York restaurants holding two and three Michelin stars, bringing that know-how to make refined burgers. It's also the spot singer Kang Min-kyung of Davichi visited and praised, and it placed second in the Korea Burger Championship.

If you take part in the Naver receipt review event, you get coleslaw, salad, or yellow peppers as a freebie, so give it a try and grab the extras.

Menu and how to order a set
From the classic cheese burger to a Hawaiian bacon BBQ burger, a truffle burger, and more, there's a wide range of premium burgers to choose from based on your taste.

There's also a variety of sides and drinks. You don't need to order those separately — just click the burger you want and choose the set option. It comes out to about the price of fries plus a drink, though the fries portion seemed a bit smaller when you do it that way.

We ordered the bacon cheese burger that Kang Min-kyung raved about and the pastrami sandwich, both without pickles. I was curious about both the 'Kang Min-kyung burger' and the pastrami sandwich cured and smoked for over 80 hours.

Once you pick your burger, you can add on a set like this.

Ordering these two came to ₩39,600. Pretty simple to order overall.

Eating a burger neatly on a blind date
You don't really want to be chowing down messily with your hands on a date or blind date, right? That's why they thoughtfully provide a knife and fork, so you can slice it up and eat neatly. If you're dining solo, of course, just enjoy it however's comfortable.

The vibe here is so upscale you could almost forget whether you're in the US or Korea.

How the pastrami sandwich and bacon cheese burger tasted
This was my first time trying a pastrami sandwich cut into such a neat square shape, and it was really delicious. I expected it to be super greasy since it's described as an American flavor, but the smoking made it taste clean and light instead.

I could totally see why Kang Min-kyung raved about it — both the look and the taste were on point.

It's a burger place that photographs beautifully too.

We tried both the thick-cut and thin fries
We ordered the 18mm thick-cut fries alongside the thin fries, and both were delicious. If you're coming as a pair, it seems like a good idea to order one of each and share.

If you love burgers, this is definitely worth visiting. The pastrami sandwich was my first time trying one, and it was lighter than expected, not greasy at all. If you don't like pickles, just ask in advance and they'll leave them out.

That was my visit to Daily Fix Seoul National University Entrance today, and it was such a satisfying meal. It's the kind of burger I keep thinking about and want to eat again.
