Pasta bar with 3-floor rooftop near Seoul Station: Seoul Boutique

I had plans with friends near Seoul Station 💕 and while looking for somewhere to have dinner, I ended up at Seoul Boutique! They have plenty of dishes great for sharing — pasta, pizza, risotto, gambas — and they go perfectly with wine or beer, so if you're looking for good pasta near Seoul Station and don't want to sacrifice atmosphere, this is the place I'd recommend.

From Exit 15 of Seoul Station to a 3rd-floor rooftop on Mallijae-ro

Seoul Boutique is known as a top pasta spot near Seoul Station, close to Seoullo or Mallijae-ro near Exit 15. The space is split across three floors, with the third floor operating as a rooftop.

I originally wanted to sit on the second floor because the vibe there is nice, but for four of us chatting, the first floor turned out to be better!! These photos are from the first floor~!

With the dimmed lighting and vintage interior, it felt a bit more like a pub or bar than a restaurant. The dark ambience actually photographs really nicely!

Now that the weather's turning cooler, a lot of people were eating out on the terrace too.

First floor or second floor — where to sit?

This is the second floor!!

The second floor is divided into more separate sections, so it feels more private, while the first floor has a more open, lively atmosphere where you can watch people coming and going.

If anyone's going on a date on Mallijae-ro, I'd recommend the second floor!!

Seoul Boutique's menu board!! If you're looking for pasta near Seoul Station, there are quite a lot of options~! Pollock roe aglio olio, mushroom cream pasta, carbonara, seafood Shanghai pasta, seafood crab guts cream pasta, chadolbaegi (thin beef brisket) minari pasta, tomato meat pasta, and more — lots of variety.

Besides pasta, there's also pizza, risotto, gambas, and even tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) — good drinking snacks — so it's not a place where you have to stick to Italian dishes only. That's why we skipped pasta and ordered a bit of everything instead :-)

Spinach pizza ₩20,500

Seoul Boutique's signature spinach pizza, with fresh spinach piled on top almost covering the whole pizza! It comes with cherry tomatoes, cheese, and mayo sauce.

Pizza can usually get a bit heavy because of the cheese, but with so much fresh spinach on top, it ate relatively light and fresh.

Squid ink risotto ₩18,500

The dish I enjoyed the most that day — squid ink risotto. The squid ink is soaked in deeply, so it's striking just to look at!

The seafood flavor comes through pretty intensely, so if you're a fan of seafood or ink dishes, I'd definitely recommend this one.

Gambas ₩17,500

A great light dish to share before the mains arrive if you're in a group!! It hit exactly the flavor you'd want from gambas. Folks ordering wine seemed to keep a plate of this on the side.

If you want pasta and a drink near Seoul Station

There are tons of restaurants around Seoul Station, but finding somewhere with real atmosphere for pasta or pizza plus a drink can actually be surprisingly hard to pin down 😭 Seoul Boutique has a slightly different vibe on each floor, and on nice days you can use the terrace or rooftop.
