DMTS facial for seasonal dry skin near City Hall: Beautae Esthetic

In short

Beautae Esthetic is a skin care esthetic in Jung-gu, Seoul, an easy walk from Jonggak, City Hall, and Euljiro 1(il)-ga stations. The visit was for seasonal inner dryness, redness, and small breakouts, treated with one session of DMTS care using special acrylic needles and a high-concentration ampoule. After just one DMTS session at Beautae Esthetic, dull, flaky skin turned dewy and plump, and makeup sat well the next day.

Seasonal change is back again. Every time the season shifts, my skin gets flaky and breaks out, and honestly it's nothing new anymore — but since that one Rejuran shot I got before worked SO well, I'm feeling this season's dryness extra hard... though I could never do Rejuran again, the pain was unimaginable and it's stuck in my memory as pure horror 😫

Feeling like I needed some care, I found Beautae Esthetic near my office, known as a skin clinic around Euljiro Dadong and the Jongno/Myeongdong area.

Where to find Beautae Esthetic — 6th floor of Hyoryeong Building by Cheonggyecheon

The Hyoryeong Building, right next to Cheonggyecheon stream where the Texas Bar sits, is a place I'd only ever walked past — turns out Beautae Esthetic is on the 6th floor of that very building. It's close to Jonggak, City Hall, and Euljiro 1(il)-ga stations, so accessibility is great.

When I looked this place up before visiting, I found a ton of reviews about contour care, and once I actually got there it really did feel like a go-to spot for facial contouring! There were vivid reviews about contour care posted all over the shop.

From the seasonal dryness consultation to the treatment room

First they run a simple consultation through a questionnaire about your recent skin concerns and where you'd like improvement. My recent concern was that with the change of season my skin had gotten dry, with serious inner dryness — and visibly dry skin on top of that meant some redness was showing up and small breakouts were forming too, which was pretty frustrating. During the consultation they talked through my concerns with me, recommended a treatment, and then led me to the treatment room. A single bed was neatly set up in a private room, and they gave me a disposable gown and bottled water.

What is DMTS care, and does it hurt?

The treatment I was getting today was DMTS care, which they explained combines special acrylic needles with a high-concentration ampoule. It's supposed to effectively help the ampoule absorb into dull, flaky skin and restore your skin condition. I was worried the special acrylic needles might sting, but honestly this level of discomfort was totally manageable. Did one Rejuran shot turn me into a super-strong human? ⭐

The ampoule mask that covers your neck too, plus a scalp massage

After the high-concentration ampoule treatment, they put on a mask packed with ampoule. What I found really thoughtful is that they apply it down to the neck as well so the ampoule can soak in there too! I've been to a lot of estheticians, but taking care of the neck like that felt like such a careful, considerate touch — I was genuinely touched.

While resting with the mask on, they give you a scalp massage to help relax the scalp. They massaged every corner so thoroughly that all my fatigue just melted away. Having someone touch your hair feels so good... or is that just me? Haha

Before and after one session of DMTS care

And here's the big before-and-after moment! Looking at the before shot on the left, the skin was clearly dull and flaky with redness that looked like it was about to break out — while in the after shot on the right, there's a dewy glow with skin that looks packed with moisture. They explained that consistent treatment not only fixes inner dryness but also helps prevent pores from sagging 👍🏻

Also, I didn't even get contour care — so why does my contour look better too? My jawline feels a little sharper. Am I imagining it?

My dull skin became super moisturized after just one session, and my makeup sat so well the next day that I was really satisfied with Beautae Esthetic. They're also running a referral promotion — if you visit through mutual referral, you both get two extra sessions! Sounds like a good place to go with friends too.
