Seoul Station sandwich shop for fig-pistachio lunch: Dance Dance Dance

I was looking for somewhere to grab a quick sandwich near Seoul Station, and the baguette sandwiches looked so good that I ended up visiting Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station! Dance Dance Dance sells sandwiches made with all sorts of ingredient combinations. Above all, the fig pistachio baguette, generously topped with seasonal figs, was especially delicious!

A sandwich shop convenient for getting around Seoul Station

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is in a location that is convenient for getting around from Seoul Station. It is also close to Sungnyemun Station bus stop!

Baguettes, ciabatta, and simple desserts are displayed out front. And just so you know, the plain bread here is sooo delicious too, haha.

The interior in particular had more four-person tables and seating than I expected. It is a spacious layout that can seat nearly 25 people, making it a great Seoul Station sandwich spot for visiting as a group!

A wide selection of sandwiches and baguettes

As you would expect from a great sandwich shop, Dance Dance Dance had a truly wide selection. Along with standard baguettes, jambon jalapeño, ham egg, egg potato, grilled cheese, and mushroom, I liked that there were seasonal-only options such as fig, corn tofu cream cheese, and pollock roe potato!

There were also distinctive Dance Dance Dance options that looked lovely to eat like dessert, including plain tofu cream cheese, matcha tofu cream cheese baguettes, Dubai pistachio, honey butter, and pollock roe baguettes, so it seemed easy to choose according to your taste! There were so many kinds that I deliberated for ages, but my final choice was the fig pistachio baguette!

How the fig pistachio baguette tastes

A large baguette was generously filled with thick, chewy pistachio cream, then appetizingly topped with fresh figs and finely chopped pistachios. The rich, nutty pistachio flavor and the moist, sweet figs went so wonderfully together!!

Then there was the baguette—crisp outside and chewy inside—so I got a wonderful contrast against the soft cream and moist figs. The best!! The figs were large and the pistachio cream was plentiful, so rather than either flavor overpowering the other, the harmony was especially good when eaten together in one bite.

The pistachio cream in particular was unbelievably generous. This stuff is seriously addictive..! One bite fills your mouth with a thick, intense pistachio flavor—it definitely makes an impression. It was spread generously right into the center, so every part gave me that lovely nutty taste.

It was quite substantial for eating in one bite, but it was most delicious when I ate the baguette, pistachio cream, and ripe figs all at once. The sweet figs gave it a dessert-like feel, while the baguette made it satisfyingly filling—more filling than I expected, too.

Recommended for group orders and a simple brunch

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station was a great place to visit when I wanted an unusual sandwich or a simple brunch near Seoul Station—I highly recommend it! The pistachio cream has such a deep nutty flavor, so I think anyone who loves pistachios would enjoy it even more :)

Group orders and takeout are available as well, so it looked like a good choice for office snacks, meetings, or event sandwiches. It is close to Seoul Station and easy to reach, and you can enjoy bread with coffee too, so if you are looking for brunch or a simple meal near Seoul Station, it may be worth stopping by :)
