A baguette brunch at Grand Central near Seoul Station

Today, I’d like to introduce a great baguette sandwich spot near Seoul Station. Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is one I’d recommend for an office-worker lunch or brunch before catching a train! It is on B3 of the Grand Central building, just a three-minute walk from Seoul Station.

Take the escalator down in the Grand Central building and you’ll find this kind of space!

An interior that works well solo or with a group

The café has an open layout inside the building, with tables that work nicely whether you come with a group or are eating alone.

There were round tables and tables for two. After lunchtime, the seats even filled up with nearby office workers!

And, as you would expect from a Seoul Station brunch spot, I could already admire delicious-looking baguettes and ciabatta in the display case.

It had been a while since I’d seen whole baguettes like these—you can tell this is a proper baguette place, right? Haha.

The myeongran baguette, made with pollock roe, looked so tasty too haha.

From baguette sandwiches to low-sugar oat options

The menu included a range of baguette sandwiches and brunch sets, as well as coffee and desserts.

True to its reputation as a brunch spot made with wholesome ingredients, lots of healthy choices and low-sugar oat options stood out. It was a good menu selection for anyone dieting or looking for healthier food, too.

Ordering the jambon pistachio baguette and oat milk latte

The total was ₩19,300. I ordered the jambon pistachio baguette and a sugar-free vanilla bean oat milk latte. Ordering coffee and a sandwich together gave me a ₩1,000 discount compared with ordering them separately, so I ordered them together.

Jambon pistachio baguette and oat latte order

Remembering the jambon pistachio baguette I had in Europe, I decided to order one here. For the coffee, I chose the sugar-free vanilla bean oat milk latte with health in mind.

Ta-da! The made-to-order jambon pistachio baguette and sugar-free vanilla bean oat milk latte arrived!

Made-to-order baguette and latte

The jambon pistachio baguette was huge, right? Haha. It was cut into two pieces for easy eating, which was convenient. It was packed with jambon ham and pistachio spread 👏

It looks like it would go soooo well with coffee, doesn’t it?

Since the coffee was a sugar-free oat vanilla bean latte, I could enjoy something tasty and healthy at the same time.

Give it a good stir before drinking, haha.

A baguette that is just crisp and chewy enough

First of all, as befits a great Seoul Station brunch spot, the baguette itself was wonderfully crisp and chewy. I’m not very good with bread that is too hard, but this was just crisp and chewy enough—crisp enough even for people who struggle with hard bread to give it a try.

I also liked that you can switch the baguette to softer ciabatta according to your preference.

Jambon baguette with pistachio spread

The pistachio spread in the jambon pistachio baguette was a little less sweet than the pistachio spread used in Dubai chocolate, which made its pairing with the jambon feel distinctive! Next time, I’d like to try switching to a plain baguette or ciabatta too haha.

Final verdict: Recommended when you’re looking for a healthy, delicious brunch café near Seoul Station!!
