Korean BBQ near Ttukseom Station with birthday seaweed soup
In short
Marblejeong is a Korean beef restaurant on the second floor near Ttukseom Station in Seongdong, Seoul, where staff grill every cut at your table. The writer reserved a private room with the birthday miyeokguk (seaweed soup) perk and ordered a 400g mixed grill of 1++ Korean beef with a bottle of Isla red wine, tasting sirloin, brisket point and thin brisket in turn. Marblejeong proved satisfying enough for anniversaries, work dinners and everyday lunches alike.

My boyfriend's birthday was coming up, so I was scrolling around Seongsu-dong trying to figure out what to eat. He loves meat, so I went looking for a Korean beef place — and found one that not only grills the meat for you but also offers a birthday seaweed soup. I booked it right away. They have both a hall and private rooms, so I reserved a room.
