A revisit to bd Burger, which I remember as having the best shrimp burger in Seongsu~~!

There are a lot of good handmade burger places these days, but bd Burger Seongsu isn't overly punchy while still having a hearty patty — good texture, good flavor, a burger restaurant that's stuck with me 😉

Where is bd Burger Seongsu, and what about solo dining and parking?

bd Burger Seongsu is on the 2nd floor of an alley near Yeonmujang-gil in Seongsu-dong. There are plenty of tables so eating alone doesn't feel awkward, and turnover is fast, so even if there's a wait, a seat opens up quickly — fine to drop by anytime.

Being tucked into an alley gives it a slightly relaxed feel too~

Parking at the Seongsu 2-ga 1-dong public parking lot and walking over takes about 5 minutes, which is great for cheap parking 🚘 Seongsu has quite a few public parking lots, so it's actually not a bad neighborhood to drive into!

What to order at bd Burger Seongsu, and how it tasted

A generously ordered set menu 🍔 bd Burger isn't just great for burgers — the sides are excellent too, so I really recommend ordering the set menu to try a variety!

For the big-size wasabi shrimp burger set I chose eggplant and mushroom fritters, and for the double cheese burger I went with original fries, plus a zero-sugar cola! I added corn salad separately. There's a soda machine in the store for self-serve refills too — such a nice touch at bd Burger.

The patty itself seems lightly seasoned, and grilling gives it real depth of flavor — plus whole sliced grilled onions add both texture and a nice touch of sweetness. Everything comes together well with the soft bun!

Eggplant & mushroom fries

Eggplant & mushroom fries — crisp and moist, fried whole, with all the crunchy-outside, soft-inside quality you want.

The mushrooms have a deep, earthy aroma still alive in them — I'd recommend eating them in one bite! 🍄

Biting into the eggplant fritter is basically automatic ASMR — that crunchy, crackling sound is so satisfying 🍆

You get chipotle sauce and ranch sauce, half and half — savory with a slight kick that cuts the richness nicely!

Original fries and corn salad

I went with the original salty fries, though there's also a version topped with thick cheddar sauce and a rich butter garlic fries option, so pick according to your taste 🍟

I'd also recommend the fresh homemade corn salad that refreshes your palate between bites! 🌽 Corn kernels, tomato, and red onion come together crunchy and fragrant, cutting through the richness completely.
