Ragu pasta with beef tendon at a Euljiro3-ga restaurant: Pyu Euljiro

In short

Pyu Euljiro is a 70-pyeong contemporary dining restaurant on the first floor of TOWER 107, near Exit 9 of Euljiro3-ga Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. Over dinner with her husband, the writer ordered the ragu pasta at 25,000 won, grilled yuzu chicken thigh at 28,000 won, a 500ml Neomsabyeok hazy IPA and the Four Seasons sorbet, and the ragu pasta came loaded with such chewy beef tendon that a second plate was tempting. Tables at Pyu Euljiro sit far enough apart to talk easily, making it a comfortable spot for a date or a first meeting in Euljiro.

When you think of Euljiro, old-school pubs or nostalgic drinking spots usually come to mind, but this time I visited a 70-pyeong contemporary dining restaurant on the 1st floor of TOWER 107.

The lighting was soft, so our faces looked bright and warm — great for photos too. The tables were spaced generously so we didn't have to worry about neighboring seats, which made it easy to focus on conversation. Perfect for a Euljiro date or blind date.

Ragu pasta with chewy beef tendon, 25,000 won

Pyu Euljiro's ragu pasta is made by simmering beef, pork, duck, and beef tendon (seuji) for over 12 hours. It comes topped with minced beef and cheese, and the sauce wasn't overpowering at all — it tasted healthy and clean.

I wasn't sure beef tendon would work in pasta, but it wasn't greasy at all and the chewy texture was really nice. My husband liked it so much I almost ordered a second one.

Neomsabyeok hazy IPA: orange aroma first

The beer we drank together at Pyu Euljiro was the Neomsabyeok hazy IPA, 500ml for ₩9,000. The can was labeled as a world champion craft beer, winner of 16 titles at international beer competitions.

At ABV 6.7% and 500ml, this hazy IPA had a rich, foamy head when poured into the glass.

On the first sip, orange peel and citrus notes came through first — a flavor I think women in particular would love.

Grilled yuzu chicken thigh with charcoal aroma, 28,000 won

The grilled yuzu chicken thigh combines the smoky char of charcoal grilling, the juiciness of chicken thigh, and the bright acidity of yuzu. With vegetables on top, it felt like a health-conscious diet-friendly dish.

It wasn't too sweet, just pleasantly so — I thought if you could diet on food this good, you'd definitely succeed 😀

Four Seasons sorbet with seasonal fruit and house-made garnish, 9,000 won

The Four Seasons ice cream (sorbet) is a seasonal dessert made with different base ingredients each season. It had a strong watermelon aroma, and the sorbet melted away smoothly.

After a meal I usually want to go to a café, but that day we'd already had dessert with dinner, so I didn't feel like coffee — we ended up walking along Cheonggyecheon Stream instead.

A Euljiro restaurant where you can take pretty photos and focus on conversation — a great Euljiro date spot. If you're looking for a restaurant in Euljiro where you can enjoy wine, this one is worth a visit. 🫠
