I had a dinner appointment in Euljiro, an area with hip vibes I hadn't visited in a while, and while looking for a restaurant with good atmosphere, I ended up here. Pyu Euljiro is located a 3-minute walk from Exit 9 of Euljiro3-ga Station, so it's easy to reach by public transport, which should also make it convenient after work. Once you head inside the building, you can spot the restaurant right away on the first floor.

Unlike Euljiro's typical vintage, sentimental buildings, this one sits in a clean tower building, so you can dine in a pleasant setting.

Parking at Pyu Euljiro is available in the building's basement lot. The first hour is free, and after that there's an additional charge of ₩1,000 per 10 minutes. If you want to enjoy your meal and drinks comfortably, public transport might be more convenient.

Inside Pyu Euljiro: dim lighting, wood-and-modern interior

Once you step inside, a soft, upscale atmosphere unfolds that's quite different from what you'd expect from the outside.

The slightly dimmed, soft lighting blends with a stylish wood-and-modern interior to complete an even more romantic atmosphere.

The interior tables are spaced comfortably apart, making it great for quiet conversation over a meal. Thanks to that, you can have a relaxed, calm chat, which is why I'd strongly recommend this space to anyone looking for a blind date or date spot in Euljiro.

During weekday lunch or dinner peak hours, it seems like this would be popular with office workers looking for an Euljiro lunch spot as well as date-night customers.

Since I had made a reservation ahead of time, there was already a name tag set up at the table. I love this kind of detail.

What we ordered: bisque pasta and grilled yuzu chicken thigh

When the main dishes we ordered arrived neatly set with the Cheongdam Myeoneuri beer, I couldn't stop admiring the visuals. From the bowls the food was served in to the detailed plating, the delicate craftsmanship really stood out.

The bisque pasta had a rich, deep flavor from the special bisque sauce simmered from shellfish for a long time.

The sauce clung to the noodles rather than pooling separately, so the umami filled my mouth. The combination of plump, fresh shrimp garnish and the savory, hearty sauce was excellent — I scraped up every last spoonful of sauce.

Next came the grilled yuzu chicken thigh, and the fragrant yuzu sauce underneath along with the golden-grilled chicken aroma made my mouth water.

I admired the pretty plating first, and then was surprised again by the thick chicken thigh — crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside.

The sweet yet tangy yuzu sauce cut through the richness and heaviness of the chicken perfectly, completing a refined flavor. A perfectly balanced main dish.

What does Cheongdam Myeoneuri craft beer taste like?

To wet our throats, we tried the Cheongdam Myeoneuri beer we'd ordered.

This craft beer has a witty name and delivered a clean, refreshing lager character with real character. It's apparently won 28 titles at international craft beer competitions, including World Beer Champion.

The subtle, savory malt flavor and clean finish paired perfectly with the dishes we ordered. It wasn't too bitter and finished refreshingly, making it easy to enjoy without feeling heavy.

Is Pyu Euljiro worth a visit? Overall verdict

It was a great time to sit and chat calmly with a friend while enjoying well-made dishes and refreshing beer in a stylish atmosphere. With nothing lacking between the friendly service, atmosphere, and excellent food, it's a place worth visiting again.
