Family sushi restaurant in Dongnae, Busan: highballs at Moshi Moshi

Today, after finishing our shopping at Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch, I’d like to introduce a place where you can comfortably enjoy delicious sushi and Japanese food with a baby.

It’s Moshi Moshi Sushi (모시모시 스시) Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch, located in the department store’s 8th-floor dining area.

Let me tell you about our very satisfying meal: the savory flavor of fresh raw fish, a highball with crispy tempura, and tender chashu with that sweet-and-salty flavor!

Located in the 8th-floor dining area of Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch, which connects to Myeongnyun Station, this is a sushi restaurant near Myeongnyun Station with very convenient access and parking.

The tables are generously spaced and baby chairs are well provided, so families bringing a stroller or young children

can have a comfortable, pleasant meal here. We visited at weekday lunchtime, and it was busy, so we had to wait a little!

The staff were so kind while we waited, which put me in a good mood ^^

What came with Sushi Hansang and the flounder-salmon sushi set

That day, we ordered the well-rounded Sushi Hansang (a full sushi set, ₩21,900), a flounder and salmon sushi set, and chashu (₩22,000) as a side.

First of all, the fish on top of the sushi was incredibly fresh, so I could really taste its pleasantly chewy texture and rich savory flavor. I think salmon sashimi quality can vary greatly depending on who prepares it, and this one definitely had an excellent texture!

Sushi Hansang in particular came with fresh sushi, crispy tempura, and hot udon, so it was seriously satisfying as a full meal. Unlike the flounder and salmon set, Sushi Hansang let us try a wider variety of sushi, which I really loved.

As you would expect from a well-known sushi restaurant near Myeongnyun Station, the quality was excellent. The engawa (flounder fin) in particular had such a pleasingly crunchy-chewy bite.

The tempura included with Sushi Hansang was so memorable. The batter was unbelievably crisp and nutty that I couldn’t help but exclaim as soon as I took a bite.

As I enjoyed that crisp texture, I naturally started thinking of a drink with the meal, so I immediately ordered a highball as well. Even the color of the tempura batter was pretty.

I ordered a Suntory highball, though they also had a Jim Beam highball, so choose according to your taste!! The light, refreshing highball and the crisp, savory tempura made a perfectly delicious pairing.

Tender chashu in a sweet-and-salty sauce

The chashu we ordered as an extra was an excellent choice too.

The meat was wonderfully tender without any unpleasant odor, and its special soy sauce, both lightly sweet and salty, filled my mouth and really whetted my appetite.

It was simply perfect as a special little bite to enjoy between pieces of sushi.

This sushi restaurant near Myeongnyun Station left us very satisfied: in a spacious, tidy setting, we could comfortably enjoy fresh sushi, crispy tempura, and highballs with the baby.
