Window-seat forest view lunch course for 3 at Casamil, Gangnam
In short
Casamil Sinsa Garosu-gil is an Italian restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul, on the 1st floor of La Casa Hotel, a 6-minute walk from Sinsa Station Exit 6. Three of us visited on a weekday at 1:30pm, sat at a window table, and each chose a 39,000 won lunch course with seafood tomato pasta, coco rosé pane pasta, and mushroom cream risotto, spending 119,500 won total. With trees packed right up against the floor-to-ceiling windows, it felt like sitting in a forest — a great pick for treating someone you're grateful for.

Location and basic info for Casamil Sinsa Garosu-gil

It's located on the 1st floor of La Casa Hotel. Turn slightly inward from the main Garosu-gil street and you'll see lush green plants right at the hotel entrance. Walk past them and you're at the restaurant. You could get lost on the main road, but if you keep heading toward the hotel lobby, it's not hard to find.

This is the glass house where dogs are welcome, seen from inside the main dining room looking out. It's separated like its own standalone building right next door.
Window seats that feel like sitting in a forest

We arrived around 1:30pm. Since it was a weekday afternoon, seats were plentiful and we were seated by the window.
Right outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, trees were packed in tight. Sunlight came through, but the leaves filtered it so it was softly bright rather than glaring.
A cool breeze happened to be blowing, and watching the branches sway outside while staring at all that green really gave off an early-autumn feeling.
The ceiling is exposed, giving high ceilings, and the glass globe lighting doesn't block the sightlines at all, so the whole space feels wide open and airy.

Private room for 8–10 people
To the left of the entrance, there's a separate private room that fits 8 to 10 people. It's perfect for family gatherings or group meetups.

In one corner there were dishware and heated warming containers that looked like a buffet setup. In the mornings, this space also serves as the breakfast area for hotel guests.
The kitchen is open, so you can even see the wood-fired oven blazing away.

Food review
Potato soup
Strong potato flavor and creamy texture. It was thick, almost like potatoes sautéed in butter, but went down smoothly, closer to a potato cream soup. Having it on an empty stomach eased my stomach gently.
Salad
Fresh vegetables with a refreshing olive oil-based dressing. Light enough to just perk up the appetite, perfect before diving into the main dish.

We ordered coffee alongside the meal. The dark notes of the coffee paired well with the creaminess of the pasta and risotto.

Seafood tomato pasta

Tomato sauce base, but the mussels were big and the shrimp were plump — a generous amount of seafood.

The seafood flavor came through properly — if you like seafood, this one's a must.

Coco rosé pane pasta

The bread is shaped into a bowl with the pasta inside. Various vegetables, cream, and rosé sauce blend into a rich rosé cream, with shrimp, mushrooms, and vegetables giving good texture. The sauce soaked into the bread thickly, and both the bread bowl and its lid were crispy enough to dip into the sauce. The portion was generous, about 1.5 servings' worth.
Mushroom cream risotto

The beef cubes were tender with a nice bite. The cream was smooth with a subtle mushroom aroma, and the seasoning was spot-on. Clean-tasting without being overpowering.
Handmade yogurt ice cream

The yogurt flavor felt like it cleansed the palate. After such a filling meal, it was the perfect way to finish.

Overall review
It was a lovely, delicious lunch course in a great atmosphere. The price is a bit on the higher side, but with the lunch course you get everything you need in one place, without moving to a café afterward, so it's decent value overall.
