It's officially the season of high skies and fat horses (aka fall haha). The sky's high and I'm getting chunky — and in this windy autumn, my unmaintained hair just went whoosh. The perm fell out, styling it with a round brush took forever, and the back of my head was super messy too...

It was just a total mess overall. So today's salon mission: front part perm + side down perm + a cut, all at once!

You enter through Gate 1 of Gwanggyo SK Lake View Bldg A. There's an EV charger in the parking lot too, which is perfect for someone like me who's in for a long perm session~

Went up to the 8th floor and found Yuwolae Mijangwon Suwon Gwanggyo Branch. And right away, a doggo caught my eye...! His name is Mongnyong. Such a cute puppy...ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

What the salon vibe was like

A clean, white-toned Yuwolae Mijangwon. A waiting area that puts your mind at ease. After telling them what perm I wanted today, I moved to my seat~

Yuwolae Mijangwon Suwon Gwanggyo Branch is as tidy as ever. A lot of salons don't clean up cut hair, but this place stays super neat and managed.

Was I a barbarian or something... my hair is seriously so long ㅠㅠㅠ Started with the cut first~

Love-rum-perm-perm, part-perm-perm-perm, down-perm-perm-perm, go- When you get a down perm and a part perm together, the chemicals often make your scalp itchy, but this Gwanggyo salon seems to use good-quality products because I felt none of that at all.

The shampoo bowl massage was heaven

After the heat treatment, off to wash my hair... and wow, this place is so clean. If a place is like this, I really... can't hold back..! (Hold back what?) They washed my hair and the finger pressure massage was absolute bliss.. my jaw dropped with every finger.. ah.. ah...

It was so good

Thin hair, a swimmer's perm results

The perm turned out great! My hair is thin and perms fall out fast on me, and swimming always made me worry about my curls — but Yuwolae Mijangwon solved all that in one go.

They also taught me how to blow-dry it and finished the setting neatly with curl cream. It came out so nicely, I felt great — and honestly just having my long hair chopped shorter already made me happy. Of course there's a difference between the stylist's finish and mine, but I'll try my best to keep this condition up +_+
