Suwon beauty salon facial for fuller mid-cheeks: Esthetia

Now that I’m in my 30s, facial contouring is one of the things I pay the most attention to. I kept feeling like my facial lines were losing their shape, so I went to Esthetia Gwanggyo 1st Branch for facial contouring care. I heard it’s an aesthetic salon visited by KT Wiz cheerleaders, so I went in even more excited haha.

[Parking] Search for “Mexicana Chicken Gwanggyo Branch” and you’ll find the dedicated Edu Plaza parking lot~! After parking, come up to the third floor. From Exit 2 of Gwanggyo Jungang Station, walk straight, turn left at the intersection, pass Gwanggyo High School, then come to the third floor of the building with Lotteria and Paik’s Coffee. It’s a seven-minute walk!

Esthetia is a Gwanggyo aesthetic salon offering all kinds of care: small-face and facial contouring treatments, cheekbone-line and asymmetry care, double-chin and facial-balance care, care for lost volume and more dimensional facial lines, plus care for blemishes, hyperpigmentation, tiny bumps, and sensitive skin!

Before the consultation, I briefly wrote down all my skincare goals, then we got properly started. I said I was concerned about my cheekbones, asymmetry, facial lines/traps, shoulder body care, and dehydrated skin—ㅋㅋㅋㅋ basically worried about everything^^..

They recommended the newly launched Head & Neck Relax treatment along with facial contouring care! They said my cheekbones and lines themselves weren’t bad, but that tight muscles and spreading soft tissue were probably making them look that way. So I decided on contouring care that would shorten the look of my mid-face while making the front-cheek area appear fuller, tidying up my lines! It was my first time receiving such a thorough consultation, and they pinpointed my concerns exactly, so I trusted them with it haha.

The Gwanggyo facial contouring treatment order

The Esthetia Gwanggyo facial contouring care I received today went in this order: hydrating cleanse, deep cleanse, hydration, décolleté, modeling mask, and finishing care.

I changed clothes.

There was even a pre-treatment checklist inside the treatment room, which showed just how carefully they handle each treatment 👍

The treatment began with a hydrating cleanse!

After the hydrating cleanse, they finished with a deep cleanse.

Then the real facial contouring care began 😆 They focused on my cheekbones and asymmetry. After feeling my face, they said I actually didn’t have much muscle rather than having a muscle issue. Then they asked, “Muscle doesn’t build easily on your body either, right?” And that is SO true…;; Even when I exercise, I’m the type whose muscles really don’t build—I’m 100% soft squishy fat haha. They said it wasn’t a muscle issue but an elasticity issue, and that muscle massage should improve elasticity so the front-cheek area could look fuller.

Then they properly worked on my cheekbones and facial lines with muscle massage! There was a little pressure, but it was absolutely not cry-your-eyes-out painful!!! Sometimes you do come across places that are truly tear-inducing.. ㅠㅠ But more pain doesn’t automatically mean better results.

They carefully applied a modeling mask to soothe my stimulated skin, then finished with basic skincare! They also applied the BB cream Esthetia uses and recommended it as a total gem~~! Wearing cushion foundation or foundation can feel like too much, but this gave a natural glow that would be nice for popping out near home haha. Usually places only apply sunscreen, so this was my first time somewhere had applied BB cream too~~~

Do you know what was really amazing? My mom looked at me and said my face looked a little different. She said the front-cheek area looked kind of plumper and fuller, then asked if I’d had a procedure done ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I got chills, so I immediately told her I’d received facial contouring care at Esthetia.. How was she repeating exactly what the therapist had said.. 200% results..
