My husband and I were craving craft burgers during our Gangneung trip, so after some serious searching we headed here. It was close to the café we'd already planned to visit, so the location was perfect. The vibe was hip and the burgers were delicious — I was so, so happy with Moana Burger!! Plus there was the resident golden retriever Yeoreum, which was a nice bonus. She was unbelievably cute 🐕 ୧⃛(๑⃙⃘◡̈๑⃙⃘)୨⃛ Here's my review of Moana Burger, a Gangneung spot with great craft burgers!

Where Moana Burger is: Chodang Sundubu Village, Gangneung

Moana Burger sits in Gangneung's Chodang Sundubu Village. There are a lot of cafés nearby too, so it's the perfect course for lunch followed by a move to another spot. I had a burger here and then headed to the café I'd been wanting to visit. ˘ᗜ˘

The exterior of Moana Burger was so hip-looking it was easy to spot from a distance. There's a parking lot right in front, too, which was convenient — we parked there ourselves~~! ୧⃛(๑⃙⃘◡̈๑⃙⃘)୨⃛

Here's a look inside Moana Burger. There's a variety of seating — sofa seats, table seats, even standing seats. With visuals playing on a screen and music going, the whole vibe felt perfect. ✨ Kind of like being at a famous pub abroad⭐️ ヽ( ᐛ )ノ

Yeoreum the resident golden retriever, and bringing your own dog

There's a resident golden retriever named Yeoreum! So gentle — she was having a great time playing with my husband too 🐕 Moana Burger is a pet-friendly restaurant. Please keep the leash short or stay inside a carrier, following pet etiquette. (〃´𓎟`〃)

Our burgers arrived! They looked incredibly appetizing from the start and smelled amazing. They gave us wet wipes and disposable gloves too, so we could eat cleanly without getting our hands messy! Looking at this now makes me want it again ㅠㅠ (⸝⸝o̴̶̷᷄‸o̴̶̷̥᷅⸝⸝)

What the Hawaiian Burger tastes like: pineapple and bacon

This is the Hawaiian Burger. The pineapple and bacon work together beautifully. It could get heavy after a while, but the tangy pineapple keeps every bite tasting fresh! The patty was super juicy too. The combo with the bacon was top-notch~~ ˘͈ᵕ˘͈

The signature Moana Burger with a Big Wave beer

This is the signature Moana Burger. It's loaded with a juicy patty and fresh tomato, lettuce, onion, and cheese. I personally love tomato in my burgers, so this was totally my style! And pairing it with my favorite Big Wave beer made it even more of a dream combo!! You all really should drink beer with it too...o̴̶̷̥᷅⌓o̴̶̷᷄

They say burgers taste even better when you press them down firmly before eating. It's like all the flavor gets compressed~~?! Loved it~~ ´͈ ᵕ `͈ ♡°◌̊

Five minutes on foot to Sacheon Beach, and why we'd return

My husband and I clinked our beer and Coke and enjoyed every bit of it. My husband raved that it was absolutely delicious — that's my review of Moana Burger, a great restaurant in Gangneung. Sacheon Beach is just a 5-minute walk away too, so it's a great spot to combine with a beach stroll. How about a craft burger with a walk by the sea~~?! I'm definitely going back next time~~~
