Omil Hongdae takes reservations through Catch Table, and even on a weekday evening there was a bit of a wait.

There's a restroom inside too, and the cozy atmosphere made it a nice spot for a date.

You order at Omil Hongdae by ringing this cute little bell, haha. If you take part in the Naver receipt or Google Maps review event, you get a free canned drink worth ₩3,500 (soda, zero-sugar drinks, sparkling water, orange juice, etc.). Since you pay upfront when ordering and get your receipt right away, you can join the event on the spot — I'd recommend keeping this in mind when you visit.

With affordable Western dishes and a cozy space, this place suits anyone near Hongdae looking for a good-value lunch or a casual date spot.

How does the spicy skirt steak risotto taste?

Omil Hongdae's spicy skirt steak risotto is ₩17,900. It comes with skirt steak beef and vegetables stir-fried in chili oil, plus cheese, giving it a spicy, punchy flavor. Paired with the cream pasta, it cut through the richness nicely and made for a good combo. That said, the risotto itself felt more like rice mixed into pasta sauce, which was a bit disappointing.

Omil Hongdae's bacon cream pasta is ₩18,900, a signature cream pasta loaded with thick-cut bacon and big chunks of mushroom. The thick, rich sauce clung well to the noodles, and the smoky flavor and chew of the thick bacon went really well with the cream sauce, haha.
