Myeongji hanwoo restaurant in Busan for group dinners: Yong Hanu
In short
Yong Hanu Myeongji Branch is a hanwoo (Korean beef) grill restaurant tucked inside the food alley of Myeongji International City in Gangseo, Busan. Two diners shared the one set of top-grade 2++ sirloin and galbisal (boneless short rib meat), then added kimchi fried rice piled with beef, yeolmu noodles (young summer radish noodles) and seafood doenjang stew, and the corn-fired grills at every table plus the large dining room made Yong Hanu Myeongji Branch an easy fit for a work group dinner. The food and the service were both good enough to come back with coworkers.

Hi, this is Ddani. A few days ago, my boyfriend and I went to Myeongji for some good hanwoo (Korean beef) after a long while.

We did a ton of searching before going, and there's one place that always comes up when you search for good beef restaurants in Myeongji these days, so we went in with high expectations.

The clean interior caught our eye right from the entrance, which already made us excited about how good the food would be.

If you're also craving delicious hanwoo like we were, pay close attention to this post!
Where is Yong Hanu Myeongji Branch, and is there parking?
Yong Hanu Myeongji Branch is tucked inside the food alley of Myeongji International City, so it was really easy to find. There are parking spaces right in front of and beside the restaurant, so we didn't need to worry even though we drove.
Spacious and clean — perfect for enjoying great beef in Myeongji

The interior is done in black and wood tones, giving it a really stylish and tidy vibe.

What really caught my eye was how each table has its own grill fired by corn — I couldn't take my eyes off it. The corn keeps rotating, so fascinating!

The subtle aroma that seeps into the meat while grilling feels like this place's special charm. There was a great variety of menu items and drinks too. Plus plenty of side dishes, which already won me over.

With such a cozy atmosphere, this would be a great spot to come with family or friends for good beef in Myeongji too.
What comes in the one set: 2++ sirloin and galbisal
At Yong Hanu Myeongji Branch, we ordered the one-set combo without any hesitation, since we'd already decided it was the best menu item beforehand. It comes with top-grade two-plus sirloin and galbisal together, so it felt really satisfying and substantial.
The one-set combo — a chance to taste multiple cuts of great Myeongji beef

The top-grade two-plus sirloin and galbisal come out together, and the marbling was insane. It looked good enough to eat raw... you know that feeling, right? Haha.

A staff member ground pepper fresh for us on the spot, and I found this little touch really fun.

The corn-fired grill has strong heat so the meat cooks quickly, and the first bite was surprisingly full of juice. It melted so softly in my mouth that I kept gasping in amazement the whole time I ate. I'm glad we came to Yong Hanu for good beef.

Adding a little wasabi gave it an extra clean finish that was absolutely delicious. Honestly good enough to want every day.
Rice, noodles and drinks: how Yong Hanu works for a group dinner
After the meat, we ordered three dishes: stir-fried kimchi rice loaded with meat, yeolmu noodles, and seafood doenjang stew. You have to order a rice or noodle dish after the meat, right? We ordered all three and enjoyed them fully. Felt like we ate way too much, haha.
A recommended team dinner spot at Yong Hanu, complete down to the side dishes

Beef that melts in your mouth paired with a cold draft beer — nothing to envy in the world at that point. We started with draft, moved to somaek (beer-soju mix), and ended with soju, a truly happy meal from start to finish. No matter how full we were, the food was so good the drinks kept going down easily.

Overall, everything including the side dishes was neat and delicious, to the point I thought I'd burst.

Thanks to the spacious floor, Yong Hanu felt like a great spot to come with friends, and it also struck me as a perfect team dinner spot.

I'd love to come back next time with coworkers too. I'm going to actively recommend Yong Hanu in Myeongji for our next team dinner. Everyone would have a great meal here.

The owner was really kind, and above all the meat quality was excellent, making for a happy time overall. Taste and kindness — if either one is missing, we usually never go back. But this is a place where my boyfriend and I kept saying, all through the meal, that we have to come again.
This is the kind of great Myeongji beef spot I'd want to return to anytime I crave good hanwoo. Doesn't your mouth water just looking at the photos? If you visit, I promise you won't regret it!!
